The championship landscape in TNA Wrestling has undergone a dramatic transformation.
Bound for Glory 2026, held October 11 at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, became one of the most important championship nights of the year. Leon Slater made history by defeating Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship, Indi Hartwell reached the top of the Knockouts division, Amazing Red captured the vacant X-Division Championship on the same night he entered the TNA Hall of Fame, Jason Hotch regained the International Championship, and Zoey Serrano and Shayna Baszler captured the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship.
TNA’s official roster now recognizes Leon Slater, Indi Hartwell, Amazing Red, Jason Hotch, The Nemeths, Zoey Serrano and Shayna Baszler, and M by Elegance as its current champions.
For longtime TNA followers and newer fans trying to keep track of the rapidly changing championship picture, here is a complete breakdown of the promotion’s seven active championships as of October 14, 2026.
Current Champion: Leon Slater Won Championship: October 11, 2026 Defeated: Nic Nemeth Previous Champion: Nic Nemeth
The TNA World Championship remains the promotion’s ultimate prize, and it now belongs to one of the most exciting young wrestlers in the company.
Leon Slater defeated Nic Nemeth in the main event of Bound for Glory to become the youngest TNA World Champion in company history. TNA itself celebrated the victory as a history-making achievement immediately after Slater defeated Nemeth.
Slater’s road to the championship makes the accomplishment even more significant.
At Lockdown on August 23, Slater defeated Cedric Alexander in a Last Man Standing match to regain the TNA X-Division Championship. Immediately afterward, he invoked Option C, surrendering the X-Division title in exchange for a TNA World Championship opportunity against Nemeth at Bound for Glory.
It was an enormous gamble.
Instead of remaining one of TNA’s premier X-Division stars, Slater voluntarily gave up guaranteed championship gold for the opportunity to reach the top of the company.
The gamble paid off.
At Bound for Glory, Slater defeated Nemeth and completed his transition from X-Division standout to TNA’s central champion.
The victory potentially represents more than a championship change. It could mark the beginning of a generational transition for TNA.
Nemeth brought decades of major-event experience into the match. Slater brought athleticism, confidence and enormous upside.
For one night in Tampa, youth defeated experience.
Now Slater must prove that winning the championship was only the beginning.
Being the youngest TNA World Champion creates opportunity, but it also creates pressure. Every established main-event wrestler on the roster now has a reason to target him.
Leon Slater is no longer chasing TNA’s future.
He has become it.
Current Champion: Amazing Red Won Championship: October 11, 2026 Championship Status Before Match: Vacant Previous Champion Before Vacancy: Leon Slater
Few championship victories could have been more appropriate than Amazing Red winning the X-Division Championship at Bound for Glory.
Earlier in the evening, Red was officially inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
Then he made a surprise announcement.
Rather than simply celebrating his career, Red entered the seven-man match for the vacant TNA X-Division Championship.
The championship had become vacant after Leon Slater invoked Option C following Lockdown.
Amazing Red joined Fabian Aichner, BDE, Rich Swann, KC Navarro, Ryan Nemeth and Cedric Alexander in the Bound for Glory championship match.
He then completed an extraordinary night by defeating the field to become X-Division Champion.
There is an appropriate symmetry to the victory.
Amazing Red is one of the wrestlers whose innovative, high-speed style helped establish the philosophy associated with TNA’s X-Division. His influence reaches well beyond individual championship reigns.
Now, more than two decades after helping define that style, he once again carries its championship.
The X-Division has always operated under the philosophy that it is not about weight limits—it is about no limits.
Red represents that philosophy as well as almost anyone in TNA history.
His championship reign also creates fascinating possibilities.
TNA possesses an increasingly deep collection of athletic wrestlers including Cedric Alexander, KC Navarro, Rich Swann, Fabian Aichner and BDE. Any of them could become a legitimate threat to Red.
Amazing Red entered Bound for Glory as a Hall of Famer.
He left as a Hall of Famer and a champion.
Current Champions: The Nemeths — Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth Won Championship: August 23, 2026 Defeated: The Hardys — Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy Previous Champions: The Hardys
Nic Nemeth may have lost the TNA World Championship at Bound for Glory, but he remains a champion alongside his brother Ryan.
The Nemeths captured the TNA World Tag Team Championship at Lockdown by defeating Matt and Jeff Hardy inside the steel cage.
The match produced one of the biggest developments of the evening because Nic Nemeth entered Lockdown as TNA World Champion and left holding both the World and World Tag Team championships.
The brothers have since demonstrated that their victory was not merely a one-night upset.
On the final iMPACT before Bound for Glory, the Hardys invoked their contractual rematch.
The Nemeths survived.
Nic avoided Jeff Hardy’s Swanton Bomb and secured the victory, allowing the brothers to enter Bound for Glory weekend still holding the tag championships.
But another challenge has already emerged.
At Bound for Glory, Frankie Kazarian won the Call Your Shot Gauntlet.
Instead of targeting Leon Slater’s World Championship, Kazarian announced that he intends to use his opportunity to pursue the TNA World Tag Team Championships alongside Avery Styles.
That decision creates an unusual championship situation.
Kazarian has earned one of TNA’s most valuable opportunities, and he wants to use it to create a new team capable of dethroning the Nemeth brothers.
Nic also enters this phase of his career with something to prove.
He no longer holds TNA’s biggest singles championship.
The World Tag Team Championship is now his primary piece of gold.
That may make The Nemeths even more dangerous.
Current Champion: Jason Hotch Won Championship: October 11, 2026 Defeated: Mustafa Ali, John Skyler and Special Agent 0 Previous Champion: Mustafa Ali
The TNA International Championship has become inseparable from the collapse of Order 4.
Jason Hotch regained the championship at Bound for Glory by defeating Mustafa Ali, John Skyler and Special Agent 0 in the Order 4-Way.
The victory marked another dramatic chapter in Hotch’s complicated rivalry with Ali.
Hotch had previously defeated Ali to capture the International Championship before Lockdown.
Ali reclaimed the championship on August 23 inside the steel cage after an extremely violent match that included Hotch diving from the top of the cage through a table. Ali eventually connected with another 450 splash and pinned Hotch to regain the championship.
Their rivalry continued rather than ended.
Order 4 progressively fractured, with loyalty, control and personal resentment turning former allies against one another.
Bound for Glory provided the logical conclusion.
Instead of Ali defending against one challenger, the major personalities involved in Order 4 collided with the championship at stake.
Hotch emerged victorious.
The International Championship is still relatively young compared with TNA’s World and X-Division titles, which means every champion plays an important role in determining its long-term identity.
Hotch now has another opportunity to make the championship his own.
His biggest challenge may be moving beyond Mustafa Ali and proving that he can build a championship reign against the rest of TNA’s roster.
Current Champion: Indi Hartwell Won Championship: October 11, 2026 Defeated: Xia Brookside Previous Champion: Xia Brookside
Indi Hartwell has reached the top of the TNA Knockouts division.
Hartwell defeated Xia Brookside at Bound for Glory with Mickie James serving as special guest referee, capturing the TNA Knockouts World Championship.
The championship victory completed a pursuit that had been developing for months.
Hartwell openly stated that becoming TNA Knockouts World Champion was one of her primary goals and continued pushing for an opportunity while Brookside established herself as champion.
Brookside had survived significant challenges before reaching Bound for Glory.
At Lockdown, she retained against Elayna Black inside the steel cage. Hartwell watched that match closely, making it clear that she intended to be next in line.
Eventually, Hartwell received her opportunity.
At Bound for Glory, she capitalized.
Hartwell drove Brookside into an exposed turnbuckle, connected with an elbow drop and finished her with Harts Donut to secure the championship.
Winning the championship changes Hartwell’s role immediately.
She is no longer attempting to convince management or opponents that she deserves an opportunity.
Everyone else now has to convince TNA that they deserve an opportunity against her.
Brookside remains an obvious potential rematch candidate, while Elayna Black and other emerging Knockouts could quickly enter the championship picture.
The chase is over for Indi Hartwell.
The championship reign has begun.
Current Champions: Zoey Serrano and Shayna Baszler Won Championship: October 11, 2026 Defeated: Kiera Hogan and Allie Previous Champions: Kiera Hogan and Allie
Bound for Glory introduced a potentially dominant new team to the Knockouts tag division.
Zoey Serrano selected former WWE and MMA standout Shayna Baszler as her partner to challenge Kiera Hogan and Allie for the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship.
The decision produced immediate results.
Baszler and Serrano defeated the champions at Bound for Glory after Baszler trapped Hogan in a chokehold to secure the victory.
Baszler’s arrival gives TNA’s women’s tag division an entirely different dynamic.
Her reputation is based on submissions, physicality and legitimate combat-sports experience. Serrano brings another style and gives the champions a potentially effective contrast.
They also ended a noteworthy story surrounding Allie.
Allie entered Lockdown without her regular partner Rosemary and revealed returning Kiera Hogan as her mystery partner. Hogan and Allie defeated The Elegance Brand that night to retain the championships.
Their partnership continued through Bound for Glory, but Serrano and Baszler proved too much.
The next question is whether the new champions are a temporary alliance created for one major match or the beginning of a truly dominant team.
If they develop chemistry, their combination could make them extremely difficult to dethrone.
Current Champion: M by Elegance Won Championship: August 27, 2026 Defeated: Jada Stone Previous Champion: None — Inaugural Champion
M by Elegance holds a unique place in TNA history.
She is the first TNA Knockouts Television Champion.
TNA introduced the championship during the summer of 2026 and held a tournament to determine its inaugural holder.
The tournament concluded on the August 27 edition of Thursday Night iMPACT when M by Elegance defeated Jada Stone in the finals. TNA specifically established that the championship would be defended exclusively on Thursday Night iMPACT.
That gives the championship a clear identity.
While the Knockouts World Championship represents the division’s ultimate prize, the Television Championship is designed to reward regular performance and place championship wrestling prominently on TNA’s weekly television program.
M has already experienced how demanding that format can become.
On October 8, she defended against Elayna Black.
The match reached the championship’s time limit just as Black appeared close to victory. The bout ended in a draw, allowing M by Elegance to remain champion.
The result creates an obvious unresolved issue.
Elayna Black did not defeat the champion—but M did not defeat Black either.
That gives TNA a natural rematch whenever the promotion chooses to return to the rivalry.
As the inaugural champion, every defense matters for M by Elegance.
She is not simply building her own championship résumé.
She is helping establish what the Knockouts Television Championship will represent for future generations.
TNA’s official roster currently recognizes the following championship lineup:
Bound for Glory 2026 did more than provide TNA with its biggest event of the year.
It reset the championship hierarchy.
Leon Slater went from X-Division Champion to the youngest TNA World Champion in history.
Amazing Red celebrated his Hall of Fame induction by returning to the championship that represents the style he helped make famous.
Indi Hartwell finally achieved her goal of becoming Knockouts World Champion.
Jason Hotch regained the International Championship from the faction leader he once followed.
Zoey Serrano and Shayna Baszler immediately established themselves as a championship team.
Only two championships survived Bound for Glory weekend without changing hands: the World Tag Team Championship held by The Nemeths and the Knockouts Television Championship held by M by Elegance.
Even those champions have challengers emerging.
Frankie Kazarian has announced his intention to pursue the Nemeths alongside Avery Styles, while Elayna Black’s time-limit draw with M by Elegance leaves unfinished business surrounding the Knockouts Television Championship.
That makes TNA’s championship picture remarkably open.
The promotion has veterans carrying historic championships, young stars being elevated into central positions, new titles developing their identities and outside names immediately making an impact.
But the biggest story is Leon Slater.
Option C has always represented the possibility that an X-Division wrestler could trade one championship for an opportunity at something greater.
Slater did exactly that.
He surrendered the X-Division Championship, walked into TNA’s biggest event of the year against an accomplished world champion and walked out carrying the most important title in the promotion.
As of October 14, 2026, Leon Slater and Indi Hartwell stand at the top of TNA’s men’s and Knockouts divisions.
After a Bound for Glory filled with championship changes, the question now shifts from who reached the top to something far more difficult:
Who can stay there?
