Ranking Every TNA Wrestling Event Through October 31 on the Wrestling Size Chart

TNA Wrestling is heading into the most important portion of its 2026 calendar.

From September 16 through the end of October, TNA has a smaller live-event schedule than some of its competitors, but what the company lacks in quantity during this stretch it makes up for with significance.

The road leads directly to Bound For Glory, TNA’s flagship pay-per-view, on October 11 in Tampa, Florida. Before the biggest show on the company’s calendar, TNA will spend two nights in San Antonio building toward the event. Immediately afterward, the promotion travels to Dothan, Alabama, for two nights of television tapings that will establish the direction of the company coming out of Bound For Glory.

TNA’s official event calendar currently lists five live-event dates between September 16 and October 31: September 24 and 25 in San Antonio, October 11 in Tampa, and October 13 and 14 in Dothan.

Rather than simply list those events, we’re giving the TNA schedule the same treatment we used for AEW.

We’re taking the basic three-size idea associated with Cold Stone Creamery and translating it entirely into professional wrestling terms.

STRONG MIDCARD — A good wrestling event worth watching, particularly if you’re following the weekly product, but not necessarily something around which the entire promotion revolves.

CO-MAIN EVENT — A significant card with major storyline implications, an important position on the calendar or a presentation that separates it from a standard television taping.

WORLD TITLE MAIN EVENT — The biggest events. Championships, major rivalries and company-changing developments are most likely to happen here.

With that established, let’s rank every announced TNA live event from now through October 31.

5. TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! — September 25

Boeing Center at Tech Port — San Antonio, Texas

Rating: STRONG MIDCARD

The second night of TNA’s San Antonio residency lands at number five, but that shouldn’t be viewed as an indictment of the event.

TNA returns to the Boeing Center at Tech Port for back-to-back nights on September 24 and September 25, with both nights producing material for Thursday Night iMPACT!. The company has also announced fan meet-and-greet opportunities surrounding the San Antonio events.

The second night features plenty of recognizable TNA talent around the weekend festivities, including The Hardys, Xia Brookside, Mustafa Ali, KC Navarro and members of the Knockouts roster.

The biggest factor working against September 25 in these rankings is simply that the previous night’s show carries the added distinction of airing live.

September 25 should still be important because TNA will be only a little more than two weeks away from Bound For Glory.

That means television time becomes increasingly valuable.

Every championship rivalry needs direction. Every challenger needs momentum. Every storyline intended for Tampa needs to move closer to its conclusion.

The second night in San Antonio therefore has plenty of potential, particularly if TNA uses the taping to finalize additional Bound For Glory matches.

But among the five announced live-event dates during this stretch, something has to occupy the bottom position.

Verdict: Strong Midcard.

Not a throwaway show. Not an unimportant event. Just the least essential live date in an unusually concentrated TNA schedule.

4. TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! — October 14

Dothan Civic Center — Dothan, Alabama

Rating: STRONG MIDCARD

October 14 is where things become interesting.

TNA will hold two live events at the Dothan Civic Center immediately following Bound For Glory. The company says these events mark its first shows in Dothan since January 2014 and its first televised events in Alabama since that same year.

That gives the Dothan residency some historical significance on its own.

But its placement on the calendar is even more important.

Bound For Glory happens October 11.

Dothan begins October 13.

The second night takes place October 14.

In professional wrestling, the first television tapings following a major PPV can sometimes be nearly as fascinating as the pay-per-view itself.

Who walks into Alabama as champion?

Who lost a championship in Tampa?

Which rivalries ended at Bound For Glory?

Which ones continue?

Who becomes the next challenger?

Does someone return?

Does a new wrestler debut?

Does TNA immediately begin building toward its next premium event?

Those are the questions surrounding Dothan.

TNA has confirmed several major names for Tampa and Dothan, including The Hardys, Nic Nemeth, Mustafa Ali, Moose, AJ Francis, Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards, Leon Slater, KC Navarro and Ricky Sosa. The company’s Knockouts division will also be represented by talent including Xia Brookside, Indi Hartwell, Jada Stone, Elayna Black, Mila Moore and Harley Hudson.

October 14 sits slightly behind the first Dothan night because that first post-Bound For Glory event has the advantage of delivering the immediate aftermath.

Still, this is exactly the kind of show that could look much more important after October 11.

Verdict: Strong Midcard — with legitimate Co-Main Event potential.

3. TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! — September 24

Boeing Center at Tech Port — San Antonio, Texas

Rating: CO-MAIN EVENT

September 24 receives the first Co-Main Event rating.

Why?

Because this is not simply another television taping.

TNA has announced that the first San Antonio night will air live on AMC. Both San Antonio shows will provide episodes of Thursday Night iMPACT!, but September 24 carries the additional importance and unpredictability of live television.

That matters.

Live wrestling creates an entirely different atmosphere.

There is no editing around mistakes. There is no waiting days or weeks to see what happened. Major storyline developments reach the audience at the same time they happen inside the arena.

More importantly, September 24 lands directly on the road to Bound For Glory.

TNA’s World Championship picture has already become one of the central stories of the promotion. As recently as September 10, Nic Nemeth was defending the TNA World Championship against Matt Hardy in a No Disqualification match. TNA was also using qualifying matches to determine who would compete for the X-Division Championship at Bound For Glory.

That tells us where the promotion’s focus is.

Every major division is beginning to point toward Tampa.

The live San Antonio episode provides TNA with an opportunity to make significant announcements, establish championship matches and accelerate the biggest feuds before the PPV.

There is another element worth mentioning.

TNA has promoted an extensive post-show meet-and-greet lineup for September 24 featuring names such as Nic Nemeth, Ryan Nemeth, Leon Slater, The Hardys and Elayna Black.

That doesn’t necessarily change the television quality, but it adds value for fans attending the event.

If you’re evaluating the schedule from the perspective of both television importance and live-event experience, September 24 stands out.

Verdict: Co-Main Event.

This is probably the most important regular TNA television date before Bound For Glory.

2. TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! — October 13

Dothan Civic Center — Dothan, Alabama

Rating: CO-MAIN EVENT

The first night in Dothan edges past San Antonio because of one thing:

Bound For Glory fallout.

October 13 takes place only two days after TNA’s biggest event of the year.

That’s a tremendous position on the calendar.

Imagine everything that could change in Tampa.

There could be new champions.

There could be shocking victories.

There could be betrayals.

There could be reunions.

There could be wrestlers whose entire direction changes based on what happens at Bound For Glory.

Dothan becomes the first opportunity for TNA to begin answering the question that always follows a major wrestling event:

What’s next?

That’s why this event ranks above September 24.

San Antonio helps sell Bound For Glory.

Dothan begins defining the company that exists after Bound For Glory.

TNA has also emphasized the significance of returning to Alabama. According to the promotion, these are its first events in Dothan since 2014 and its first televised Alabama events since an iMPACT! taping in Huntsville that same year.

That should create an audience that has waited a long time to see televised TNA wrestling in the state again.

The talent list is strong as well.

The Hardys.

Nic Nemeth.

Mustafa Ali.

Moose.

Leon Slater.

Eddie Edwards.

Brian Myers.

AJ Francis.

Ricky Sosa.

And a deep Knockouts roster.

The actual significance of October 13 will depend heavily on what happens two nights earlier.

If Bound For Glory produces major title changes or storyline developments, Dothan could become one of TNA’s most consequential television tapings of the fall.

Verdict: Co-Main Event.

And there is a realistic scenario where this eventually deserves World Title Main Event consideration based on Bound For Glory’s aftermath.

Rating: WORLD TITLE MAIN EVENT

There isn’t much debate here.

TNA describes Bound For Glory as its showcase event of the year, and its original 2026 schedule announcement identified the event as one of the crown jewels of the company’s calendar.

Bound For Glory takes place Sunday, October 11 at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.

Doors open at 3 p.m. ET.

The Countdown begins at 4 p.m. ET.

The main pay-per-view starts at 5 p.m. ET.

This will also be the first Bound For Glory held in Tampa, according to TNA. The company previously presented iMPACT! in the city in 2013 and returned to Tampa in August 2024.

Everything about TNA’s schedule during this period revolves around October 11.

San Antonio exists partly to get the major stories ready for Tampa.

The qualifying matches taking place on iMPACT! are helping determine championship opportunities at Bound For Glory.

The World Championship picture is moving toward the event.

The X-Division Championship picture is being shaped specifically with Tampa in mind. TNA announced that after Leon Slater invoked Option C, the X-Division Championship would be decided at Bound For Glory, with qualifying matches determining participants.

Then, once Bound For Glory ends, Dothan becomes important because the company must deal with everything that happened there.

That’s how you recognize the true centerpiece of a wrestling schedule.

Every road leads toward it.

Every road afterward leads away from it.

Bound For Glory is historically one of the events most closely associated with TNA’s identity, and the company itself calls the 2026 edition its flagship premium pay-per-view.

The Yuengling Center also gives the event a larger-arena presentation appropriate for TNA’s biggest night.

Championships will matter.

Major rivalries will matter.

The future direction of several wrestlers could change.

And unlike a television taping where one match might carry most of the intrigue, Bound For Glory is supposed to deliver importance throughout the card.

If you’re only watching one TNA event between now and Halloween, this is it.

September 24 gets elevated because it is a live edition of Thursday Night iMPACT! and lands in the heart of the final Bound For Glory build.

October 13 gets elevated because it is the first TNA event immediately following the biggest PPV of the year.

One helps create the questions.

The other begins supplying the answers.

October 11 — Bound For Glory

Nothing else belongs in the same category.

Bound For Glory is the centerpiece.

Why TNA’s Smaller Schedule Could Actually Help

There is an interesting contrast between the TNA and AEW schedules during this period.

AEW has considerably more individual live dates between mid-September and the end of October.

TNA has only five announced live-event dates in the same window.

But that concentration could work to TNA’s advantage creatively.

There aren’t a dozen different stops competing for attention.
