How To Reactivate My Stake.us Account? March 2024

Publish Date: 10/28/2022
Fact checked by: Simon Briffa

It’s pretty much impossible to inadvertently delete your Stake.us social casino account. That’s because you have to send an email request to the customer support team – and that’s not something anyone does accidentally!

There are only two reasons for any account at Stake.us being closed down – either the customer has requested it, or the operator has.

Why would Stake.us close down my account?

Stake.us may be one of the best online social casinos you can sign up to in the US, but that doesn’t mean that anything goes. Every player is required to read and agree to the site’s terms and conditions, and to check a box indicating that they’ve done so. And OK, we know it’s not the most entertaining reading matter you’ll ever come across, but it’s packed with really important information.

More than one account?

For example, did you know that you’re only permitted to have one account with Stake.us.? Of course, it’s perfectly possible to get a little confused and accidentally create a second account by mistake, but if that happens you’ll need to let customer support know about it as quickly as possible. If you don’t, the operator will assume that you’re up to no good, and possibly even part of a money-laundering operation – and that will result in the swift termination of both accounts!

An honest mistake will result in one account being reinstated, but it’s important to look at things from the operator’s point of view. After all, since players have the option of purchasing Gold Coin packages, it handles financial transactions. And that means that Stake.us has to comply with AML regulations, even though no real-money gaming is involved.

Strict AML rules

If there’s the slightest suspicion that any Stake.us member has been using illegally obtained funds to purchase Gold Coins, or has been in any way misusing the site, their account may be terminated immediately. And it’s also worth noting that you should never let anyone else access your Stake.us account.

Don’t give out your password to anyone else, and make sure your handheld devices have lock screens in place when you’re out and about. Don’t log into our account over unsecured connections either – you wouldn’t want any else to get their hands on our exclusive Stake.us weekly bonus drops!

Stake.us retains the right to restrict players at its sole discretion. And that means the operator is highly unlikely to consider reactivating some terminated accounts. The answer is to make sure you use the site appropriately – and if there’s anything at all you’re unsure about, clarify it with customer support sooner, rather than later!

I closed my account and I’ve changed my mind!

If Stake.us wasn’t responsible for closing down your account, then it’s something you must have done yourself. And that could only have been after careful consideration, because it’s not something you can action without sending an email request to customer support.

And even then, you would have been asked to confirm that this really was your preferred course of action. Because closing down your account means losing access to all your Gold Coins, your Stake Cash and any potential prizes that might have been due to come your way.

If you’ve taken the time to check out our Stake.us VIP section, you’ll see that benefits are cumulative. You’ll have been acquiring experience points with every gaming session, which are used to move you up through the VIP levels. And the customer services representative will have wanted to double check that you understood your VIP tier benefits would also be coming to an end.

Why close your Stake.us account ?

Anyone wanting some time out from Stake.us has the option to self exclude for a while, which is preferable to closing down an account completely. It means you get to take a break away from social gaming without losing any of your coins and benefits. Then, when you’re ready to step back into gaming again, everything is just as you left it.

I want my Stake.us account back!

If the worst happened, and you went ahead and permanently closed your Stake.us account, there’s unfortunately no guarantee that it can be restored. The Ts and Cs make that clear, which is why opting for a temporary self exclusion is usually the better option.

But if you’ve paid attention to TGT’s Stake.us review, you’ll know that the support team at Stake.us are nothing if not helpful. So if you’ve previously closed your social casino account, but now you’re having second thoughts, it’s worth reaching out for advice.

There’s no guarantee that your coins and VIP level will emerge intact from the experience, but Stake.us will sometimes try to resurrect deleted accounts under exceptional circumstances. And that’s got to be worth a try! But we think the better option is to approach the support team for help and advice before thinking about permanently deleting your Stake.us account.
