Carlos Alcaraz vs Casper Rudd Preview
After losing to Rafael Nadal in the French Open earlier this year, The 23-year-old Norwegian won the Swiss Open Gstaad in July and now wants to win his first Grand Slam title.
Alcaraz will compete in his first Grand Slam final after losing to Alexander Zverev in the French Open quarterfinals. The 19-year-old Spaniard beat American Frances Tiafoe on Friday in a hard-fought match. It was his second five-set bout within a few days and the third of the week.
The winner will receive $2.6 Million, while the other finalists will be awarded $1.3 Million. Friday’s semifinalists who lost on Friday each received $705,000 in prize money.

Alcaraz and Ruud have met twice, with Alcaraz winning both, the first being a 6-2,6-4 win on clay in Marbella (Spain) in 2021.
Alcaraz also won the hard-court battle against the Norwegian 7-5, 6-4 at the Miami Open final to win his maiden ATP Masters 1000 title.
Carlos Alcaraz was one of the favourites to start the tournament. He just had things going for himself, and he will undoubtedly be the favourite when the chair umpire says, “let’s go!” on Sunday.
He has already spent more than 20 hours on the court and will need all of his youthful enthusiasm to make it through one final match at Flushing Meadows.
Ruud was seeded 5th and reached Roland Garros’ final earlier this year. However, many consider him a clay-court specialist since eight of his nine ATP Tour singles titles were played on red dirt. He does, however, have a title on hard courts, as he won San Diego Open 2021 and finished second to Alcaraz in Miami earlier in the year.
