Rublev, a quarterfinalist in four grand slams, will be facing Garin. Schwartzman, 2020 French Open semifinalist faces Dimitrov. Dimitrov is a three-time grand semi-finalist but has never been a semifinalist at French (2014 Wimbledon. 2017 Australian Open. 2019 U.S Open). Dimitrov holds a 3-1 edge in head-to-head matches. Dimitrov won in the quarterfinals in China (2016), first round at Wimbledon (2017) and second-round in Madrid (6-0,6-3 in 2022). Cilic, the 2014 US Open champion, will face French tennis legend Gilles Simon who is competing in his last French Open. Simon holds a surprising 6-1 lead against Cilic, with two victories over Cilic at grand slams. Simon won the 2007 Wimbledon first round, 3-6-7-5, 6-4 and 4-6,6-3. He was also victorious in 2014’s Australian Open second round, where he was 5-6, 7-6, 6-7, 6-1 and 6-2.
