French Open History
Djokovic is among two tennis players (Robin Soderling from Sweden) who have beaten Nadal at French Open during Nadal’s incredible French Open career. Djokovic beat Nadal twice, in the quarterfinals of the 2015 French Open as well as the semifinals of the 2021 French Open. Djokovic has been beaten by Nadal at the French Open in 2006 quarterfinals. This was their first ever head-to-head meeting. At the French Open, Nadal has a record of 109-3. I will repeat. He is 109-3.

The remaining three quarterfinals
One of the three quarterfinals has Scandinavian players with similar last names. Holger Rune, of Denmark (+170), is the underdog against the eighth seed Casper Ruud (-195). Rune stunned Stefanos Tsitsipas, the 2021 French Open winner, on Monday (7-5, 3-3, 6-3 and 6-4). The quarterfinals feature the 20th seed, and 2014 U.S. Open champion Marin Cilic (-136), against the seventh seed Andrey Rulev (-156), Carlos Alcaraz (-436) and Alexander Zverev (+1346). We have 4 great matchups to look forward to and one is a classic matchup that is sure to not disappoint! Keep an eye out for more French Open coverage from the Grueling Truth!
