The ATP doubles rankings are calculated for individual players, not permanent teams. That is why Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten are tied for No. 1, while regular partners Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool are tied at No. 11. The latest official rankings available list the following top 10.

T-1. Harri Heliovaara

Points: 9,960 Primary partner: Henry Patten

Heliovaara shares the top ranking after leading the most successful partnership in men’s doubles. The Finnish veteran and Patten have won five titles during 2026, including Madrid and Wimbledon. Their Wimbledon victory was their second championship together at the All England Club and their third major title as a team.

Strengths: Outstanding returns, intelligent positioning, calmness under pressure and excellent communication.

Watch point: At 37, maintaining health and energy through the demanding North American hard-court season will be important.

Assessment: Heliovaara may not possess the overwhelming power of some opponents, but his anticipation and decision-making make him one of the most dependable doubles players in the world.

T-1. Henry Patten

Points: 9,960 Primary partner: Harri Heliovaara

Patten has completed a remarkable rise from the Challenger circuit to joint world No. 1. His left-handed game gives the partnership natural balance, particularly when he serves from the advantage court and attacks the middle with his forehand.

Patten and Heliovaara defeated Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic 7-6, 7-6 in the 2026 Wimbledon final. They became the first men’s team since Bob and Mike Bryan in 2011 to win multiple Wimbledon championships together.

Strengths: Left-handed serving, aggressive net coverage, reflex volleys and confidence in tie-breaks.

Watch point: Opponents increasingly understand the team’s preferred formations, forcing Patten to continue varying his serving locations and movement.

Assessment: Patten supplies much of the athleticism and attacking force, while Heliovaara provides experience and tactical stability. Together, they currently set the standard.

3. Horacio Zeballos

Points: 7,400 Primary partner: Marcel Granollers

Zeballos remains one of the sport’s premier left-handed doubles specialists. Alongside Granollers, he successfully defended the Roland Garros championship by defeating Heliovaara and Patten 6-4, 6-2 in the final. It was the partnership’s third Grand Slam championship.

Strengths: Heavy left-handed serve, powerful forehand, aggressive returning and excellent chemistry with Granollers.

Watch point: Zeballos is 41, making scheduling and physical recovery increasingly important.

Assessment: His ranking reflects more than longevity. Zeballos can still take control of matches with his serve, forehand and movement across the net.

4. Marcel Granollers

Points: 7,310 Primary partner: Horacio Zeballos

Granollers is the tactical organizer of the Spanish-Argentine partnership. He and Zeballos defended Roland Garros and improved their record together to more than 220 tour-level victories. Their ability to change formations, expose weak returns and control the middle remains elite.

Strengths: Returns, anticipation, shot selection, communication and defensive volleys.

Watch point: Granollers does not rely on overwhelming serving power, so the partnership must continue winning through placement, movement and first-volley execution.

Assessment: Few doubles players read the court better. Granollers consistently places himself and Zeballos in the correct positions before opponents can fully develop a point.

5. Neal Skupski

Points: 7,050 Primary partner: Christian Harrison

Skupski began 2026 with a new partner and immediately produced a major breakthrough. He and Harrison captured the Australian Open in only their second tour-level tournament together, defeating Jason Kubler and Marc Polmans in the final. The championship briefly returned Skupski to world No. 1.

Strengths: Precise returning, sharp reflexes, disciplined positioning and extensive experience in major finals.

Watch point: Harrison and Skupski are still a relatively new partnership compared with the established teams around them.

Assessment: Skupski is one of the most adaptable players in doubles. He has remained successful with multiple partners because his returning, movement and tactical discipline translate to almost any combination.

6. Andrea Vavassori

Points: 5,090 Primary partner: Simone Bolelli

Vavassori and Bolelli have been one of the most productive teams of 2026. They won Rotterdam, Miami and Rome, becoming the first all-Italian team to capture the Rome doubles championship. Their Miami victory came against Heliovaara and Patten.

Strengths: Powerful serve, athletic net movement, heavy forehand and emotional energy.

Watch point: Their aggressive style can produce stretches of errors when first-serve percentages fall or opponents consistently neutralize the opening volley.

Assessment: Vavassori has developed into the younger athletic centerpiece of the Italian partnership. His power allows Bolelli to use his experience and shot-making more effectively.

7. Marcelo Arevalo

Points: 5,050 Primary partner: Mate Pavic

Arevalo and Pavic endured a relatively slow opening to 2026 before catching fire on grass. They won Queen’s Club and advanced to the Wimbledon final during a nine-match winning streak. Their run ended with two close tie-break losses to Heliovaara and Patten.

Strengths: Court coverage, returning, fast hands and the ability to defend before quickly transitioning into attack.

Watch point: The partnership must find greater consistency away from grass after winning its first title of the season in June.

Assessment: Arevalo is an excellent complementary partner because he covers space, returns consistently and allows the left-handed Pavic to play aggressively.

8. Mate Pavic

Points: 5,050 Primary partner: Marcelo Arevalo

Pavic shares the same point total as Arevalo and remains one of the most decorated active doubles players. His left-handed serve and imposing presence at the net create difficult patterns, especially when Arevalo is returning effectively from the opposite side.

The pair defeated Heliovaara and Patten 6-2, 6-4 in the Queen’s Club final before the world No. 1 team reversed the result at Wimbledon.

Strengths: Left-handed serve, first volley, overhead, reach and aggressive positioning.

Watch point: Pavic’s attacking style works best when his first serve lands consistently; opponents can pressure the partnership when forced to play too many neutral points.

Assessment: Pavic remains one of the most intimidating front-court players in doubles and gives Arevalo-Pavic championship potential on every surface.

9. Kevin Krawietz

Points: 5,010 Primary partner: Tim Puetz

Krawietz and Puetz captured two clay-court titles during 2026, winning the Monte-Carlo Masters and Hamburg. Their Monte-Carlo championship came after a comeback victory over Arevalo and Pavic in a match tie-break.

Strengths: Powerful returning, solid serving, physical net play and dependable performance in pressure situations.

Watch point: The Germans have sometimes been overshadowed by teams with more explosive serving, requiring them to win through superior execution and consistency.

Assessment: Krawietz is the more forceful ball-striker of the partnership. His ability to attack second serves gives the Germans opportunities to break in matches dominated by serving.

10. Tim Puetz

Points: 4,830 Primary partner: Kevin Krawietz

Puetz completes the top 10 and gives Germany two representatives among the elite. He and Krawietz have won seven titles together, including the 2024 ATP Finals, and reached the 2026 Wimbledon semifinals after winning Monte-Carlo and Hamburg earlier in the season.

Strengths: Reflex volleys, return placement, tactical awareness and composure in match tie-breaks.

Watch point: At 38, workload management will become increasingly significant as the season progresses.

Assessment: Puetz is rarely the loudest or most spectacular player on the court, but his positioning and reliability make the German partnership exceptionally difficult to defeat.

Honorable Mentions

Julian Cash

Ranking: T-11 Points: 4,830 Primary partner: Lloyd Glasspool

Cash is tied with Puetz on points but sits immediately outside the official top 10. He and Glasspool won seven titles and finished 2025 as the ATP’s year-end No. 1 team. During 2026, they captured Barcelona and reached the Wimbledon semifinals.

Cash is a strong server who looks to establish control immediately with the first volley. His partnership with Glasspool remains dangerous despite the pair being unable to reproduce its extraordinary 2025 title pace.

Lloyd Glasspool

Ranking: T-11 Points: 4,830 Primary partner: Julian Cash

Glasspool shares the same ranking and point total as Cash. His aggressive returning and willingness to move across the net make the all-British team especially effective on faster courts. The partnership is currently 10th in the 2026 team standings and remains firmly in contention for the ATP Finals.

Glasspool and Cash are the most obvious threats to enter the individual top 10. With Puetz only ahead through the ATP’s ordering of tied players, one strong summer result could return both Britons to that group.

Overall Assessment

Heliovaara and Patten have separated themselves from the field with 9,960 points each, more than 2,500 ahead of Zeballos. Their five titles and Wimbledon championship make them the clear team to beat.

Behind them, the race is much tighter. Granollers and Zeballos remain the premier clay-court partnership, Harrison and Skupski own the Australian Open title, Bolelli and Vavassori have collected three major tour trophies, and Arevalo and Pavic emerged as the leading grass-court challengers. Krawietz and Puetz provide outstanding consistency, while Cash and Glasspool are close enough to change the top 10 with one deep tournament run.
