Rybakina is a much flatter player with her groundstrokes and is one the most powerful women on the tour. Rybakina can hit any shot on the court and her serve is much more powerful than most women’s. Her 217 aces are the most in the WTA leading to Wimbledon.

Rybakina was able to win over Halep because she used every part of her game. Rybakina hit 22 winners, had five aces and broke Halep’s serves four times. Jabeur, who is also in the maiden Major final, was in the same boat as Rybakina and looked calm and poised.

Jabeur will need to use her skill to disperse Rybakina’s power. But power and a big serve always win over grass.

Rybakina’s finals record is slightly worse than Jabeur’s 3-5 record. Rybakina was able to make it to the finals despite having to overcome more obstacles than Jabeur. This should have prepared her mentally to defeat the No. Rybakina is the 2nd ranked player. We call for one more “surprise” in a tournament that is full of surprises.
