Is sports betting legal in Vermont?
A bill was passed by Governor Phill Scott in 2023 that allowed online sports betting to be regulated by the
Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery. Up to six companies are permitted to offer online sports wagering according to the bill, with just two being live as off July 2026.
