What happens when you rip Slabz mystery packs?

Based on what I saw, the site’s mystery packs draw from a pool of 100 cards across four rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary.

You can pull from any of these rarity tiers, but the odds decrease as the tier gets higher. As I experienced in my Tilt Rips review, I had four decisions to make after every pull:

Grails I saw on the site

Compared to the wide pack selection in my Phygitals review, Slabz has a smaller TCG selection, but still quite wide, with a focus on major IPs like Pokémon, One Piece, Riftbound (League of Legends), Dragon Ball, and Sports.

I noted that the packs were labeled by their prices. For instance, a Sports 250 pack means you pay $250 to rip it.

Let’s see some of the grails I found for each:

Pokémon

This was the biggest selection I saw, with seven packs ranging from $25 to $5,000. I selected a Pokémon Vintage pack for $500 to see the available grails I could pull.

That’s how I found top grails I’ve been chasing for years, including a 1999 #16 Zapdos-Holo 1st Edition PSA 10 and a 1999 #4 Charizard Base Set CGC 9.5.

One Piece

I found three One Piece packs at Slabz, priced from $50 to $1,000. I was happy to see cards for some of my favorite characters, including Monkey D. Luffy, Roronoa Zoro, and Boa Hancock.

Ripping the One Piece 50 pack gave me a 2025 #003 Monkey D. Luffy PSA 10 card. However, I sold it back to Slabz because I already had it.

Some of the top hits in the pool I saw, all in Gem Mint condition, by the way, include:

• 2024 #051 Boa Hancock PSA 10
• 2024 #006 Monkey D. Luffy PSA 10
• 2025 #NA Don!! Card PSA 10

Riftbound

Riftbound is the main TGC I am currently competing in, and although it may not be as expensive as the two previous mentions, I still feel like there’s a lot to uncover here.

Sadly, I only found that they were offering two packs:

• Riftbound 100
• Riftbound 200

For me, the price was a bit high, so I went with One Piece since the price point starts at 50% and those slabs are more likely to be profitable than RiftBound, but hey, that’s me; maybe you can land a Renata and shut me up!

Dragon Ball

Similar to what happened with RiftBound, Dragon Ball only has two packs that you can choose from; that being said, the starting price point is a lot more affordable:

• Dragonball 50
• Dragonball 100

I am not the biggest fan of this TCG or its art, so you won’t see me making any slab purchases for it. That being said, my best friend recently opened a couple of packs and landed a huge hit: A DBS Fusion World Son Goku worth $350.

Sports

When I looked at the options, I saw soccer, football, baseball, and basketball packs priced from $50 to $250.

I also saw a general pack labeled Sports 100 that included cards from different sports. Inside, I found cards of Stephen Curry, Lamine Yamal, Patrick Mahomes, and Lionel Messi.

How to rip cards at Slabz

Ripping cards at Slabz is quite easy. As soon as you land on the homepage, you’ll see a pack in front of you, with the available card franchises on the left and the price you can spend.

The main thing to keep in mind is that you need to create and verify an account first, or you won’t be able to do anything but stare at your screen.

So, up next, find a couple of easy steps to follow so you can start rippin packs in no time:

1. Verify your account – If you haven’t created an account, simply click on the top-right yellow button where it says: “Sign In”, and click on either Google for a quicker process, or manually enter your email.

2. Select Card Universe – On the left of your screen, you will find the “Pick Universe” section; here you will see all the available TCGs and sports categories that you can choose from. Make sure that the one you want is highlighted!

3. Choose a pack – right below the universe pick, you will find the available packs; click on whichever you feel like!

4. Rip pack! – Now on to the fun part! You can either hold your finger on the pack you want to open to see the rippin animation, or go straight to RIP PACK to see the price and payment methods.

When I joined Slabz, I noticed my wallet balance was in USD Coin (USDC) on the Solana network. Still, I could link an external wallet and make direct transfers with other cryptocurrencies to move funds into my USDC balance.

The options I saw in my account included OKX, MetaMask, Phantom, and Trust Wallet. As for cryptocurrencies, there were about 15 options when I scrolled through the list, including Solana (SOL), Ethereum (ETH), Binance Coin (BNB), and Bitcoin (BTC). Gas fees apply to crypto transactions.

I could also buy packs directly without funding my wallet using credit/debit cards, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. To use these options, I had to tap the “Insta Rip” button on my selected pack. For me, fiat options are easier because I can save my card details for my next purchase. Plus, it saves me the stress of transferring funds through a crypto exchange.

All of the payment methods I’ve mentioned are also available for buyback withdrawals. Though I had to verify my identity first before requesting my first payout.

How to purchase packz at Slabz

Purchasing at Slabz is quite simple; basically, it’s similar to what I talked about above on how to rip cards at Slabz, but here’s a handy step-by-step guide:

1. Select Universe – At the top-left of your screen, you will find the card families you can choose from: Pokémon, RiftBound, One Piece, Dragon Ball, Soccer, Football, Baseball, Basketball, and a generic Sports section.

2. Choose Pack – Right under the different universes you can choose from, you will find the available packs, shown with a game abbreviation (like Poke) and a number representing the pack’s price. In Pokémon, you can find anything from $24 up to $5K.

3. Pay to Rip – Right below the pack, you will find a green button with the pack’s price; it lets you pay with the payment methods mentioned above.

4. Rip Card – Now all that is left is to click the pack to activate the animation, which will open and reveal the prize inside.

Limited bonus offers for Slabz collectors

I wasn’t too impressed with the bonus front when I signed up, unlike my GOATbox.gg review. This mystery pack site had no welcome bonus for its new collectors. I expected to get a discount offer or a free pack, but there was nothing in store for me after registration.

Thankfully, I wasn’t totally stranded as the site offers regular promotions for existing collectors, such as a daily reward, referral, and VIP program. Let’s see how these Slabz bonus offers work:

Daily reward

I didn’t get immediate access to the site’s daily rewards after signing up because I had to reach the Bronze level of its VIP program first. Once I got there, I received free mystery packs and Tickets, though the pack value and the number of Tickets you receive depend on your VIP level.

So many cool features to try

Besides ripping packs, there were some other cool features I tested that made my collecting experience interesting at Slabz:

Simple website interface and friendly on mobile browsers

Once I was in, it was pretty easy to get around the packs and other sections of the site. I was greeted with a dark background and green accents. There was also background music and sound effects, and I tapped the toggle in the header to turn them off.

The site itself is well-organized, and the main tabs (Packz, Vault, Gamez, and Auctionz) are placed at the top for easy spotting. My wallet balance is also in the header for easy access. I had no issues ripping packs, and there weren’t any glitches during the process, even when I played mini-games.

To my surprise, the brand has yet to feature a native iOS or Android app. But I wasn’t too worried because the website worked fine on my mobile device. It’s been optimized to fit mobile browsers so collectors can still rip packs on the go.

Customer support can be better

The biggest letdown in my review is the customer support, as I didn’t find live chat, a dedicated FAQ, or a help center. An email option is currently the only way to get assistance, and responses may take up to 24 hours.

When I sent a message to the team about shipping and verification, replies came within a couple of hours. Nevertheless, the response was polite and satisfactory.

Slabz is legit and safe for collectors

I read the site’s terms of service first and learned how card pulls work before purchasing packs. It turns out that Collector Crypt handles the vaulting, sourcing, and grading of cards on the site. Every pull is also determined by a randomized, on-chain, verifiable roll.

Even the mini-games use provably fair technology when I checked. That way, I could verify the outcome of each round as I played. Not to mention, the site lets you see the odds for each pack and also potential pulls. Everything is transparent and open down to the card’s estimated value.

I’d say security is tight here. Reading its privacy policy, I saw it uses SSL encryption to protect its collectors’ information and transactions.

Conclusion – Slabz still has room to grow

I have to admit that I enjoyed my time collecting cards at Slabz, especially playing its mini-games to win real graded slabs. Sure, it has a few hiccups here and there, including a missing welcome bonus and limited support options, but I’ll still recommend it. Since it’s new, there’s lots of room for improvement, and it’s likely the site will work on these aspects in the future.

Generally speaking, it’s a good card rip site that’ll appeal to Pokémon collectors, and even with the few packs for One Piece and sports, collectors won’t be disappointed.
