Is Phygitals legit? I checked out its core features and pack transparency
Similar to the approach I took with my
Bigbux review, the first thing I did with Phygitals was to look at how the site works, and its core features including security, support, and banking.
Company info and transparency
Phygitals has an entire about us page which details their partners (PSA and Fanatics), where they store their cards, and what their company is about. All of this information made me comfortable about the brand and what they offer, and I have no concerns about their legitimacy.
Shipping and buybacks
With your cards that you rip from the Phygitals packs you have three options:
- Get the card shipped to your address.
- Keep it in your collection.
- Accept the buyback offer.
Shipping is available in both the US and internationally, and the prices and delivery times vary depending on your location and what you want delivered. In terms of the buyback offers, it can be up to 90% of the FMV, but there is ALWAYS a buyback offer, so you’ll always at least get something back from your rips.
Website security
The site uses SSL encryption, just like the measures I found in my
Packz.io review, and I was also happy with the quality of the payment gateway for deposits and withdrawals. They’ve got full documentation too, with info for their general terms, shipping policies, and a privacy policy.
Banking setup
For payments, you’ve got either crypto or fiat. For crypto, I was able to send USDC or USDT to my Phygitals wallet – you can do this directly using the transfer function on your third-party wallet, or you can link your wallet if it’s supported (they do Coinbase and MetaMask, for example).
Crypto payments are fine, but I also found the fiat methods really easy to use – I was able to pay with credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay, and everything looks to go through a secure payment gateway.
Customer support options
When I needed help, I clicked on the “Contact Us” link in the footer and this took me to the main support page. Here I was able to use the live chat to speak to an AI bot which was really helpful – they gave instant answers and were always able to sort my issues. Alternatively, there’s a simple FAQ section, plus information about the shipping process and options.

Usability and site design
I’m a big fan of the Phygitals site design – it’s not flashy, but instead, they’ve gone with a modern design that’s easy to use. You can browse the packs quickly, crediting your account is a sinch, and I love the pack artwork and the claw machine animation. Unfortunately, there isn’t a mobile app, but I was nonetheless impressed with the mobile-browser version.

What can you actually rip at Phygitals?
Just like the system I found in my
Card Crush review, Phygitals specializes in physical trading cards including both sports and TCG options. I was pretty damn impressed with the overall variety they offer in terms of genres, pack prices, and the quality of the cards that you can rip from the packs. The below table gives you a complete list of the currently available packs and their min/max prices:

Pokemon and Basketball cards look to be the most popular as I was always seeing live pulls from these packs, plus they seem to have the most variety and availability. I was really pleased to see Yugioh packs too as not many mystery box sites currently offer these, and I used to love the Anime series.
The ripping process is exactly the same as any other site – you buy a pack, open it, and you are given one random card from the potential pool. In terms of the animation, Phygitals has gone with an epic claw machine design – not like those rip off claw machines at the arcades, but a cool futuristic machine that delivers your pack with a smooth animation.
Odds and buyback value
Once I’d checked out the basic pack setup I wanted to dive into the prices and potential percentages of pulling the different cards. Compared to some other sites, the first thing I noticed was that they don’t have a variable volatility option – all the packs have a fixed volatility.
Next, I noticed that they were pretty consistent in terms of the potential values you can get – it’s pretty much a minimum of -50%-60% for each pack that you could get back compared to its value, and the real grail pulls are consistently a 1% chance. I’ve listed some of the Pokemon pack examples below which show the different value tiers and their percentages:

Examples of grail cards
Whenever I create these reviews I ALWAYS spend a good amount of time drooling over the grail pulls in the packs, and Phygitals has some absolute bangers. In terms of the most value, it’s the Pokemon and Basketball cards easily, and I’ve picked out some of my favorites that you can get in the packs below:

Currently, there ISN’T a Phygitals signup offer – when I made my Phygitals login, I didn’t get any type of pop up or option to claim a free pack, for example. This is pretty disappointing, as I have had a few sites recently where they’ve given me free packs to rip just for creating an account.
Aside from that, Phygitals DOES have some other cool features, including:
- Referral program.
- Leaderboard.
- Voucher redemptions.
- Secondary marketplace.
I thought the referral program looks pretty good – you get a referral link when you register an account, and you basically get a 1% referral bonus each time your referees accept the Phygitals buyback offers from their claw machine rips.
There’s also an overall leaderboard, although I couldn’t see that this actually offered any type of bonus such as a weekly or daily leaderboard prize. In the future, it also looks like they will have period voucher redemptions, and there’s the secondary marketplace where you can try and snag some deals or sell your cards.
My verdict – Phygitals take my money now!
After creating this Phygitals review I’m all in and will continue ripping packs here – it’s just a GOOD site and has everything you might want from a mystery box operator specializing in trading cards. For me, it’s all about the Pokemon cards and the awesome range of grail pulls they have, but I also like the pack artwork, the basketball cards, and the simplicity of the site.
It’s not complicated, everything is transparent, and from my experience, the buyback offers are fair, and you have a decent chance of pulling some mega cards. A welcome bonus such as a free pack would be nice, but I didn’t care too much, and it certainly wouldn’t stop me from recommending the brand.
