I’ve been a huge Pokémon card collector since childhood, so as soon as I heard about Packed, I had to get involved. As I explored the app, I started searching for Packed promotions to take advantage of.
Not only did I find a newcomer bonus, but I also came across another offer that will give you a shot at unlocking some bonus credit. There’s a deposit bonus and a referral program available, so I’m pleased that there are permanent offers to enjoy. Now, to access them, you will need to download the iOS app.

Yes, there sure was. As a new arrival, you could claim a deposit bonus previously. It was one of the first things I checked out during my Packed review, because I love a solid bonus (who doesn’t).
After opening an account, there was a deposit bonus that essentially worked as a discount on your card pack purchases. This bonus covers 20% of every pack you buy, which, as I say, gives you a 20% discount. All you have to do is select your card pack, and your bonus will be calculated.
To give you an idea: If you buy a $50 pack, you will claim a $10 bonus, leaving you to spend $40. Likewise, if you buy a $1,000 pack, you will get a $200 bonus. As such, you would spend $800 on your pack. Naturally, the bigger the price tag on your pack, the bigger the discount/bonus. But upon checking, I wasn’t able to get this deposit bonus.
It’s pretty easy to open an account with Packed. That said, there’s one bit of a pitfall – you have to download the iOS app. Of course, that means you will need an iPhone or iPad, so the app is currently inaccessible on an Android device. So, if you have an iOS device, this is how you can get started:
Follow the on-page links to load the Packed website.
Scan the QR code on your iOS device, which opens the Apple App Store.
Install the app by following the on-screen instructions.
Open the app and enter your phone number.
Type in the OTC you were sent via text.
Tick the boxes to confirm that you’re 18+ years old and have read the T&Cs.
Complete the verification by uploading your photo ID and doing a liveness check.
Deposit funds into your account to activate the deposit bonus.
Browse the card packs to choose your favorite, including Pokémon, One Piece, Basketball, and Baseball.
It’s always good to see a few permanent offers, so I was pleased to confirm that there is a commission-based reward you can claim by inviting friends to the app. This commission bonus sticks around, so you will get up to 4.5% commission on your friends’ pack purchases. Your commission is released on the 15th of each month, so you’ll get a lump sum rather than a trickle of consistent rewards. Now, while you can technically claim lifetime commission, you are capped at 90 days of rewards per friend. So, each referral will get you three months of commission bonuses.
Don’t worry, your friend isn’t left out in the cold, because there’s a reward waiting for them too. Your friend can get a free Basic Pack after spending $25 and then a free Bronze Pack after spending $200. Like the sound of this bonus? You can also claim this for yourself if you have a referral link to use. It’s open to everyone who uses a referral link, so it’s worth checking if any of your friends have accounts.
Now, back to the commission bonus. Your commission rate applies to the monthly volume, which is the total of all pack purchases. The more that’s spent, the bigger your commission rate will get. For example, if your friend spends $500, you will get 0.50% commission.
Packed has active social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, and X. I’d recommend following them, especially if you want to stay up-to-date with the latest pulls, announcements, and promotions. You might even find some exclusive social media offers from time to time. After scrolling through the Packed social media myself, I’d say it’s a great place to go if you want to add another layer to your pulling experience, as I also suggested with the Gemint bonus offers.
I’m a sucker for sharing ideas and tips with other users. It’s a big part of why I enjoy apps and sites with social features and built-in chats. Now, Packed doesn’t have that, but you do have me – someone who’s spent a lot of time on the app to pick up strategies and tips for how to utilize the features. I often share tips during these guides, just as I did with the Mnstr bonus. While the tips vary, this is because I customize them for each app:
The deposit bonus was a great offer because it gave you a 20% bonus on any pack you purchase. All card packs are available in the offer, so the more you pay, the bigger your bonus will be. I don’t suggest getting swayed by a larger bonus if the cost of the pack doesn’t align with what you were looking to pay. For instance, if you were thinking about spending $100, then I recommend buying a pack that’s worth no more than $125. I say this because once you get the 20% bonus, you will only spend your limit of $100.
If you are starting to build your collection, I can see the appeal of buying high-value packs. However, I recommend steering away from those for a while. Instead, buy cheaper card packs. You still have a shot at pulling expensive cards while adding more cards to your collection. High-value card packs will drain your balance so quickly, so unless you have a large amount to spend, I recommend the lower tiers for a starting point.
Have friends who are also into card pulling and collectibles? Well, it’s worth checking with them if they have an account at Packed already. If they do, they can refer you, so you can take advantage of the referral rewards. Then, when you spend money on card packs, you will get free packs, which is a nice extra.
Before you jump in and buy a card pack, I suggest reading the list of odds first. Packed is great for being transparent about the potential pulls and odds of each card type, so you are never in the dark. Always utilize this feature so that you manage your expectations. Just because you are spending $25 on a card pack, for example, you aren’t guaranteed to pull a card that’s worth $25. You should be clear on the fact that you could actually pull a card that’s worth $1 – it’s all part of the risk vs. reward element.
As it stands, Packed offers Pokémon, One Piece, Basketball, and Baseball card packs. Now, most card rip sites start with a decent handful of options, just like this. However, most tend to slowly roll out and expand the offerings. It’s something that I’ve seen happen time and time again, even when I was testing the Slabz bonus, for example. So, I recommend keeping your eyes open for new category drops. This is where I also recommend following Packed’s social media, because you will likely find out here too.
There was a pretty great bonus waiting for you at Packed. All you needed to do was make a deposit and then buy your favorite pack. It works kinda like a deposit match bonus, but it’s credited to your account in the form of a discount. So, instead of spending the full amount in cash, you’ll get it deducted at the checkout. Since the offer isn’t up for grabs anymore, I’m excited to find out what’s the next welcome bonus at Packed.
Admittedly, I didn’t find that many promotions, which was a little bit of a bummer. That said, there’s a decent amount to get started with. I would like to see some other offers rolled out at some stage, perhaps a way to claim more free packs, for instance. Regardless, I’ve enjoyed my time at Packed, and I highly recommend the app for its card pulls and small selection of bonuses.
Intrigued enough to want to try it out? All you have to do next is click the promotional banners on this page. You will then be directed to the official website, where you can install the iOS app.
No. A promo code isn’t generally needed at Packed, but there’s every chance that a code will be dropped at some point – just as I highlighted while testing out the Openthatpack bonus. So, while I don’t have a promo code to share, it’s worth keeping an eye out for.
You can buy absolutely any card pack you wish while claiming a Packed bonus. It’s not restricted to any specific category or pack type, which makes it a flexible reward that’s ideal for all users and interests. That aside, other promotions may have different rules, so it’s always worth checking this before you claim anything else.
You have a few options – you can vault it, sell it, or ship it. What you do with your physical cards is completely up to you. If you want to sell your card, Packed will buy it back from you at 100% Fair Market Value, which is calculated at the time of your card rip. It can fluctuate over time, though, so you can’t assume that the value will stay the same.
