Everything revolves around points at the site. Whenever you rip packs, trade on the marketplace or use the buyback feature, you receive points. Every $1 pull and trade on the marketplace rewards you with 1 point. These points are used in the points marketplace. Here you can convert your points for bonus pack openings.
The main points rewards include free packs, EV boosts, and can’t lose packs. For example, you need 62,500 points for a free Pokémon Starter pack. Normally, this would cost you $50 if you had to purchase the pack.
Weekly leaderboard
How about even more rewards with your points? Leaderboard prizes are available for the top-ranked users. The leaderboard is reset weekly, with rewards distributed every Sunday. Finish in the top 3, and you will receive a Pokémon Monster pack. Positions 4-10 are awarded a Pokémon Starter pack.
Referral incentives
Sharing is caring, folks! Bring your buddies to Monster and unlock referral perks. When your friends sign up using your referral link, you will receive 5% of every friend’s pull points. This means that even if you do not open a pack, you can still score some points from your friends.
Dupe Shield
More often than not, whenever I open a packet of chips, I am duped with more air than chips. Unlike my substandard potato chips, you are accommodated for duped packs at MNSTR. The Dupe Shield is a promo for Pokémon Starter and Great packs. In a nutshell, if you pull the same card twice on losing rips, you will receive a free pack. In my experience, the free pack is the same type as your initial purchase.

Monster review, I enjoyed my time on the platform. Along the way, I did pick up a thing or two. So, before you can get started, I want to put you in the right direction. Here are five tips to have a pleasant time when pulling graded cards:
📝 Claiming Monster Promotions
Before you can claim any Monster promotion, take a pen and paper and jot down the key terms. Make sure you include validity periods, such as the weekly leaderboard Sunday deadline. By doing so, it becomes easier to track your rewards.
Should MNSTR request your KYC documents (proof of ID and address), ensure you have electronic copies on hand. It is best to have these documents readily available. If Monster conducts a KYC check and you fail to submit your documents, you will be unable to make withdrawals.
If you do not like your rips, then sell them back to the site. There is no point burning an NFT to your online portfolio. With the up to 95% buyback feature, you can easily sell your ripped cards back to the site.
Be responsible when using the marketplace. All trades are conducted by users, and MNSTR plays no part in the negotiations. So, have a set figure that you want to bid. If you cannot afford to go higher, walk away rather than bidding with funds you do not have. Also, consider using the marketplace for selling unwanted rips. If you do not like the buyback amount that Monster is offering, you could get a better price on the marketplace. However, as I mentioned, be responsible and do not get greedy when trading with others.
Make sure you factor in all the shipping costs. If you pull a Rare, Epic or Legendary card, the excitement may mean you forget about the shipment charges. There is a flat $20 shipping fee and a $5 handling fee per card. Account for these costs when shipping a card to your home address.
