How does Lastpack work?

Lastpack is a digital collectibles platform where you rip open packs to get cards for TCGs (Trading Card Games). It offers trading cards for Pokémon, One Piece, and Riftbound, a variety that’s more than what I saw during my Packz.io review.

Like Packz.io and other legit mystery box sites, Lastpack uses a provably fair system to determine each pull. This allows you to verify the authenticity and outcomes of your pack rips. Plus, the site displays the odds of pulling different cards based on their rarity. Starting from the least to the most valuable, you have common, uncommon, rare, epic, mythic, and grail.

One thing I like about Lastpack is the option to set your volatility. There are three levels: Steady, Balanced, and Wild. With Steady, there’s no chance of getting a common card. Instead, you have a very high possibility of pulling an uncommon, then lower chances of hitting cards in other categories.

Balanced volatility evens out the odds across categories, giving you a slightly better chance of hitting a mythic or grail card. Wild offers the best shot at getting higher-value cards, but there’s also a very high chance of pulling a common.

What to do with your cards after a rip

After every pull, you can choose to sell back your card, have it shipped to you, or simply leave it in your stash. Below is a breakdown of how each option works:

Sell back your card

If you do not like your pull, the best option is to sell it back to Lastpack. Unlike many mystery box sites that offer an 80% or 90% sellback, Lastpack buys your collectible at 100% of fair market value. Keep in mind that the 100% sellback applies to the collectible’s value, not the pack price.

Ship the cards

If you get a valuable card or simply like the pull, you can have it shipped to your doorstep. The platform claims to deliver your collectible(s) in 5 business days, and this is true in my experience. Note that you’ll have to complete KYC before your first shipment. KYC can take 24 to 48 hours.

Leave your cards in your stash

This is my go-to option when I don’t want to sell or ship my cards immediately. I simply leave them in the stash till I decide what I want to do with them. The only downside is that Lastpack allows you to hold your collectibles for up to 7 days. If you don’t sell or ship the cards by then, they’re automatically sold back to the platform at the listed buyback value. After the sale, you get credits, which you can use only to open packs.

Different types of card packs to rip at Lastpack

During my Lastpack review, I found packs for only three trading card games. I’ve covered these card options in the following sections:

Pokémon

Pokémon is the main highlight on the platform, as it offers the highest number of packs you can rip. It’s also where I found the lowest-priced Noobie pack at $1, with card values ranging from $0.20 to $125. Besides Noobie, you have the following Pokémon packs:

Pack namePack price
Starter Pack$5
Rookie Pack$10
Trainer Pack$25
Explorer Pack$50
Challenger Pack$100
Nemesis Pack$250
Trophy Pack$500
Titan Pack$1,000
Vintage Pack$150

One Piece

One Piece has the least variety. Here is what I found:

Pack namePack price
Cabin Pack$5
East Blue Pack$10
Bounty Pack$25
Captain Pack$50

Riftbound

I found five packs under Riftbound, with prices ranging between $5 and $100. Here are more details:

Pack namePack price
Starter Pack$5
Poro Pack$10
Scuttle Pack$25
Choncc Pack$50
Drake Pack$100

Bonuses and promotions at Lastpack

Lastpack is one of the few mystery pack sites that have a decent range of promotions. I’m talking welcome bonuses, daily rewards, streak-based offers, race bonuses, and a loyalty program. Below is an overview of each one:

  • Welcome bonus: As a new user, I claimed three free packs. I did not have to use a code or complete verification to unlock the bonus.
  • Daily rewards and streak-based offers: The platform offers users one free pack every single day. Maintaining a streak also gets you boosts that multiply your XP. This speeds up the progression through levels in the loyalty program.
  • Weekly and monthly rewards: You also receive one free pack each week and each month. You can claim them from the rewards section.
  • Referral bonus: Lastpack has a referral program that you can enter once you join the platform. It gives you a $5 bonus when your referral spends $200 ripping packs.
  • Weekly rip race: The site ranks users based on the number of packs and XP they get weekly. If you’re in one of the top 10 positions, you receive a bonus.

The loyalty program

When I visited the Lastpack bonus page after registering, the loyalty program instantly caught my attention. It has eight main ranks: Bronze I-V, Silver I-V, Gold I-V, Platinum I-V, Diamond I-V, Obsidian, Master, and Grandmaster. You’re automatically enrolled in Bronze I after signing up. As you open packs, you get XP that continues growing until you have enough to qualify for the next rank. You receive a free pack every time you enter a new rank.

A dark-themed and user-friendly website

Lastpack sports a dark theme that’s complemented by its signature green color and white text. Getting around is a breeze, thanks to a well-designed layout. For instance, when you log into your account, you’ll find main tabs like add funds, profile, and bonuses in the top section. The pack lobby is also well-organized, with enough filtering options to let you find the packs you like.

There is no Lastpack app, but this was not a problem for me, as the website works seamlessly on smaller screens. You still get the same dark theme but a more streamlined layout. For faster access, you can add the website’s icon to your home screen.

Fiat and crypto payment methods

The payment methods I found at Lastpack were similar to those I saw during my Bigbux review. You get to choose between crypto and cash payments. If you prefer cryptocurrencies, you can transfer directly to the platform, connect your wallet, or connect an exchange. Regardless of your selected token, the minimum deposit is $3. For cash, you can pay using a debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. The minimum deposit when using fiat payment methods is $8.1.

How withdrawals work at Lastpack

The first thing to note is that there’s a difference between credits (your regular account balance) and your withdrawable balance. In your regular account balance, you have “credits.” You can’t use these for anything other than opening packs on the platform. Meanwhile, whenever you willingly sell your pulls, you receive a withdrawable balance that appears in a dedicated section under your profile. That is the amount you can withdraw.

Unlike deposits, which you can make with fiat payment methods, you can withdraw only in USDC to a Solana address. The minimum you can withdraw at a time is $10.

Customer service is available around the clock

Throughout my Lastpack review, I never had an issue. Still, I had to evaluate the customer service to see how the platform treated collectors. The support channels at Lastpack were just the same as those I saw in my Card Crush review: live chat, email, and a comprehensive FAQ page.

You can start by checking the FAQ section for answers to common questions revolving around the brand. If you want real-time communication, reach out to an agent through live chat. You’ll initially be connected to a bot, but you can request to speak to a human, and you’ll be redirected to a real agent instantly.

If you email support@lastpack.com, expect a response within five hours. There’s also a Discord channel that I’ve occasionally used to contact support. While it’s also a good alternative, responses are often slower than what I received through live chat.

A close look at the platform’s legitimacy and security

Lastpack is owned and operated by Digital Lotus Inc., a corporation based in Delaware. I looked into the company and did not find any red flags. In fact, I spotted several positive features that made the brand secure a spot in my list of recommended mystery pack sites.

First, it uses the provably fair mechanic. This way, you can be sure that the outcome of every pull is fair. For security, it implements SSL encryption and supports two-factor authentication. It also has a fast-growing community with solid reviews from real collectors. Simply put, Lastpack is legit and secure.

My Lastpack ratings are pretty high

After spending ample time on Lastpack, I can say it is one of the best mystery pack sites so far. The website itself is easy to use, thanks to the straightforward interface. It does not have dedicated crypto or sports packs, but it does offer options for popular trading card games.

Bonuses are another area where the platform shines. It is one of the few mystery box sites that offer more than just a small welcome bonus. You can easily buy packs, ship your cards, sell back at 100% the fair market value, or even cash out if you have up to $10 in your withdrawable balance.

Overall, my Lastpack ratings are high. So, if you would like to try out the brand yourself, click the on-page banners. This takes you to the site where you can register and get started.
