I recently discovered that Fanatics now offers a standalone predictions trading app, called Markets. This app lets you trade Yes or No contracts on real-world events across a wide range of topics, including sports, politics, crypto, climate, culture, and economy.
During this Fanatics review, I claimed a tiered sign-up bonus that offers new traders up to $1,000 in Trade Credit, based on trading activity during the first week after sign-up. Read on as I share my experience with Fanatics Markets, including bonus offers, usability, payment options, customer support, security, and more. Letβs get started.
After downloading the Fanatics Markets app, I noticed it offers a tiered welcome bonus. As a new trader, you can receive up to $1,000 in Trade Credit depending on your trading activity during the first seven days after signing up. Your Trade Credit increases as your total trading volume grows. Your rewards will be based on the highest trading milestone you reach during your first week. No Fanatics Markets promo code is required to claim this welcome bonus.
Here’s how it works:
| Reward ($) | Trading volume threshold to cross in the first seven days |
| $2.50 | $50.00 |
| $5 | $100.00 |
| $10 | $250.00 |
| $15 | $500.00 |
| $100 | $1,000.00 |
| $1,000 | $20,000.00 |
To claim the Fanatics Markets welcome bonus, sign up and make your first deposit. Then, make trades on any available markets during your first seven days.
Only traders who are at least 21 years old and residing in the following states are eligible for the Fanatics Markets welcome bonus: Alabama, Alaska, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Maine, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin.
The Fanatics Markets app is simple and easy to use. After signing up, I gained access to Markets 101, a helpful introduction for first-time traders. This resource clarifies everything, including how trading works on the app, how markets are settled, and the available order types.
At the very top is a horizontal lineup of prediction markets, including sports, crypto, politics, climate, economy, and culture. Just below that, rotating banners display promotions, making it easy to spot the welcome bonus. These are available to claim and don’t require a promo code, just like what we found when writing our Underdog Predict promo code review.
To test the app’s loading speed, I switched between several prediction markets and everything loaded quickly with no lag. Even during live events, trading event contracts felt smooth and engaging.
The Fanatics Markets app also features a static bar with options including Home, Live, Sports, Portfolio, and A-Z. The A-Z option makes it easy to find all available markets, while the Home option allows traders to quickly return to the home page and browse other contracts. At the bottom of the app, I also found quick links to Fanatics Markets’ terms and privacy policy, as well as customer support.
In terms of aesthetics, the app uses a black background with white text, making features easy to view. Overall, Fanatics Markets offers a smooth, intuitive experience that works well for both new and experienced traders.
Fanatics Markets offers a dedicated mobile app on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store for Android and iOS devices. Since trading isn’t supported through a desktop browser, downloading the app is essential if you want to participate in the markets.
From my experience, as I mentioned in my usability section, the app is intuitive and easy to use. Switching between categories felt seamless, and making trades was simple. Even during live events, I could easily buy and sell contracts across multiple markets without any lag.
The app is fully optimized for mobile, which means I could monitor positions, react to market shifts, and make trades whenever I wanted.
During my Fanatics review of the predictions trading app, I checked out the available payment options for traders. For deposits, Fanatics Markets doesn’t currently accept credit cards, but it offers several other options, including debit cards, Apple Pay, online banking, and wire transfers. However, note that payment options may vary by state, so I recommend tapping the Account icon in the upper right-hand corner and selecting Deposit to view the options available in your area. Depending on the method used, you may be charged a fee of up to 2% per deposit, except for wire transfers. The minimum deposit amount is $10, unless otherwise stated.
For withdrawals, Fanatics Markets supports only online banking and debit cards. Withdrawal via online banking typically processes within 3-5 business days, while debit card withdrawals are faster, usually completing within 2-3 business days.
I was eager to see how Fanatics Markets handles customer support for traders. From my Fanatics review, I found that the predictions trading app currently offers assistance only via email and phone. It also notes that response times usually range from 24 to 48 hours, so I wasn’t surprised when I received a reply within 24 hours of contacting the support team. The response was thoughtful, detailed, and helpful, and I didn’t need to follow up for additional clarification.
For traders who prefer faster assistance, Fanatics Markets also provides phone support. When an agent answered my call, they were polite, helpful, and clearly knowledgeable.
Overall, customer support at Fanatics Markets is reliable, although I would welcome the addition of 24/7 live chat support to make assistance even more accessible for traders.
Before I started trading on Fanatics Markets, I verified that it was legitimate and secure. In my review, I discovered that Fanatics Markets is regulated in the US by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and is a registered member of the National Futures Association (NFA).
The app itself is fully encrypted, ensuring that all data remains secure during transit. Plus, access is restricted to traders who are 21 or older and reside in one of the 24 supported states. These requirements are confirmed through thorough Know Your Customer checks.
Moreover, to help traders stay in control, Fanatics Markets offers several tools I found useful. For instance, the User Limits feature lets you set deposit limits and in-app session limits. There’s also a Timeout option, which lets you take a short break by temporarily deactivating your account for 3 to 365 days. For longer-term breaks, Self-Exclusion is available, letting you block access to the app for 1 year, 5 years, or even permanently.
I also appreciate how transparent Fanatics Markets is. The app clearly informs traders that certain deposits and transaction fees may apply. The exact fee can change over time; however, they’re always listed in the Fanatics Markets Fee Schedule, which is accessible directly within the app.
During my Fanatics review, I found several prediction markets on the app built around real-world events across climate, crypto, culture, economy, politics, and sports. Each market in the available categories asks a Yes-or-No question, with contracts priced between $0.01 and $0.99 based on what other traders in the prediction market think. You can decide to hold your contract till the event is closed or sell early if available. At the end, you either get $1 per contract if your prediction was right or $0 if wrong.
