Casinio Review 2026: Is Casinio Legit and Worth Your Time?

The first part of the Casinio sign up bonus consists of 100,000 Gold Coins and 2 Sweeps Coins, which is described by the brand as: “A little something to get you started”. To claim it you’ll need to register an account, then verify your email and phone number. The codes you need don’t get sent automatically; you need to request them from your player profile.

With those two steps completed, you can move onto the second part of the Casinio bonus, which requires KYC verification. Casinio will ask you to provide two documents, which you can upload via or your profile, or send to the support team by email, if preferred:

• A form of photo ID – passport, driver’s license, or state-issued ID card
• Proof of residence – a recent utility bill, bank statement, or credit card statement

Sending ID documents by email doesn’t seem like a good choice to me. It wasn’t an option during my Luckybuddha review, and I haven’t seen it offered elsewhere. Most likely because email communications are not necessarily secure.

I’d recommend completing your KYC via your player profile to stay safe and to speed things up. After all, once you’re done, you’ll get an extra 100,000 Gold Coins and 2 Sweeps Coins added to your account.

Exploring Casinio’s site

The first thing you’ll see when you arrive at Casinio is an animated banner featuring a car with a haul of virtual currencies in the trunk, and a clickable call to action. Otherwise, the homepage is quite minimalist with just a search bar and the sign up button on the top menu bar, and a small selection of game icons.

The left-hand menu options are also kept to a minimum, and only Casino Games, Live Casino, and Rewards are displayed. There are additional links to three ‘Popular Games’ and as you scroll down, you’ll also find a pop-up that explains briefly how Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins work.

Right at the bottom, there are buttons to open a support chat or go to the FAQ page. Further brand information and documents are displayed in the page footer, which I’ll discuss in the next section.

Casinio operates under US sweepstakes laws. The brand provides you with opportunities to collect free virtual currencies and makes a big point of emphasizing that no GC purchase is necessary to play. Casinio uses Cloudflare to ensure that the connection between your device and the site is safe. That means you will have a short wait every time you log in while your connection is checked.

The brand has a minimum age requirement of 21 years and enforces several levels of verification to ensure that underage players can’t slip through the net. You’ll receive a portion of your welcome bonus by verifying your email and phone number, but the remaining part requires you to complete KYC verification by uploading ID documents.

Casinio is owned and operated by Parea Gaming Inc. and provides transparent information via several documents, including comprehensive T&Cs, Rules, the brand’s Privacy Policy, and an ‘About Us’ page.

Slightly limited customer support options

I found plenty of information contained in Casinio’s T&Cs, the ‘Rules’ document, and the FAQ section. Most of my questions were answered between those and other information available around the site. However, when I wanted to contact support directly, I hit a bit of a barrier.

The 24/7 support the brand mentions on its website is only available via email, and responses can take up to 12 hours. The brand does offer live chat too, but you will need to make an optional Gold Coin purchase, or receive an invitation to join the VIP program before it becomes available. As most sweepstakes brands make live chat available as soon as you register, and sometimes before that, I was a little disappointed by Casinio’s decision in this respect.

Casinio’s VIP rewards

I wasn’t able to glean much information about Casinio’s tiered rewards program. This isn’t entirely unusual, and I met with a similar barrier when I completed my JollySweeps review. However, I can tell you that both Gold Coin and Sweeps Coin gameplay counts towards your progress, which is a good start.

The other facts I managed to uncover are as follows:

• You will be invited to join the VIP program if you are active on the platform
• As you play the casino-style games at Casinio you will collect XP
• You can also collect XP when you make optional Gold Coin purchases
• Gold Coin purchases are required to access some levels

Casinio does display a couple of teasers on the Rewards page. One example reveals that you’ll receive 50,000 Gold Coins and 2 Sweeps Coins when you achieve Level 5. But for the most part, other than stating other rewards include free spins, coinbacks, and enhanced support, there’s a frustrating lack of detail.

Thousands of games and more than 30 providers

With a library of 3,700+ casino-style games, Casinio offers more than three times what I found in my TurboStakes review. While more isn’t always better, in Casinio’s case, there’s no lack of quality.

However, with just two menu options: Live Casino, and Casino Games, you will need to do a fair bit of scrolling. Alternatively, if you have a specific game or game developer in mind, you can use the search bar to narrow down titles.

Regarding the latter, Casinio collaborates with more than 30 game providers, which include Booming Games, Slotmill, Endorphina, 3Oaks Gaming, Jili, ICONIC21, and Boldplay. As such, you’re sure to find some, if not all, of your favorites here.

Some of the providers listed were names I wasn’t familiar with, so I made a point of testing a few of their games, and I’m very pleased I did. It’s always a good thing to try something new, and if you care to follow up on that, then the games listed below are a great place to start:

One interesting feature I spotted at Casinio was the opportunity to create a personalized provider filter from within your profile. If you use it, you will only see games from the providers you select.

Despite being very thorough when I compiled my Mybets.us review I didn’t find anything similar, the only option there was to mark games I enjoyed as ‘Favorites’. All I would say about using Casinio’s feature is that you could inadvertently exclude a provider whose games you might really enjoy.

Purchasing Gold Coins and redeeming Sweeps Coins

I mentioned earlier that Casinio provides some information on its website about how Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC) work. However, it’s a little more tricky to find specific information about purchasing optional Gold Coin packages, and redeeming eligible Sweeps Coins. Nonetheless, I did manage to gather some relevant facts for you:

Gold Coin purchases

Casinio has opted for just a few tried and trusted payment methods should you choose to purchase Gold Coin packages. Those are limited to:

• Apple Pay
• Google Pay
• Visa, Mastercard and Discover credit/debit cards

You will be offered a ‘First Purchase’ bonus. This means that the first optional Gold Coin package you buy will contain 200% extra Gold Coins. There are nine GC packages ranging in price from $9.99 to $999.99, all which include some free Sweeps Coins as an extra reward.

For example, a standard $9.99 GC package usually includes 1,000 Gold Coins, but the first-purchase bonus increases it to 3,000 Gold Coins. In addition, the usual allocation of 10 free Sweeps Coins increases to 30 SC.

Sweeps Coin redemptions

As I’ve already explained, you will need to complete Casinio’s KYC to receive your full welcome bonus. But even if you skipped the second part of the bonus to avoid KYC initially, it’s a mandatory part of the process when it comes to redeeming Sweeps Coins for prizes.

Furthermore, you can only redeem ‘eligible’ Sweeps Coins. The SC you receive as part of a promotion, or as a bonus when you make a Gold Coin purchase, have a 1x playthrough requirement. That means they must be used at least once to play games before they become eligible to redeem.

Also, before you can submit an SC redemption request, you need at least 100 eligible Sweeps Coins in your account. If you opt for a cash prize, it will be sent to your bank account by ACH bank transfer, while gift cards are delivered by email.

Rounding up the highlights of my Casinio review

Casinio is a relatively new sweepstakes casino, but it already ticks plenty of boxes. If I could change anything, the first thing I would do is to make live chat support available to all players as soon as they sign up. Otherwise, anything I might critique is more to do with my own preferences.

My time on the site started with a generous welcome bonus, which I could use to play more than 3,700 casino-style games, which is pretty impressive for a sweepstakes casino.
