Best Apps Like Underdog Predict 2026: Top Underdog Underdog Predict Alternatives

Last Updated on 06/29/2026
Fact checked by: Mark Lewis

Apps like Underdog Predict, which let you buy and sell derivatives-style contracts tied to popular event outcomes, are growing increasingly popular in the US. But what other, similar brands offer comparable features to Underdog’s prediction markets platform?

Well, Kalshi, Polymarket and Crypto.com stand out most here. And in today’s guide, we’re going to compare these sites to Underdog Predict, and explore what they have to offer to those of you interested in buying and selling “yes” and “no” event contracts pertaining to sports, politics, economics, pop culture and other real world events.

The Best Prediction Market Apps Like Underdog

First up – what are the ins and outs of Underdog Predict?

Let’s start today’s guide by exploring the ups and downs of Underdog Predict itself.

Generally, we’ve always felt that Underdog Predict – which was launched by Underdog Sports Holdings Inc in September 2025 as a derivatives-style prediction trading platform – is one of the best prediction markets apps around. Particularly if you’re more interested in sports markets than other types of events.

In our view, the app offers comprehensive market coverage, good US availability and intuitive iOS and Android apps. However, it might not be the best fit for everybody.

Here’s a closer look at the app’s key features, as well as how and why we think alternative apps like Underdog Predict might sometimes be worth considering instead.

📈 Market Coverage

Sports, politics, culture and economics markets are all available to users of Underdog Predict’s app who are located in the brand’s 32 permitted US states. Although sports events are covered most extensively. With rival apps like Polymarket, similar market coverage is available, but usually with less of a sports-first lean. While politics, economics and other specific markets may be better represented by other competitors. Wherever you trade, it’s important to use a Commodity and Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) regulated app. Although of course, risk is always involved, and event contract trading won’t suit everyone.

🇺🇸 US Availability

As it stands, you can trade event contracts with Underdog Predict so long as you’re 18+, and not located in one of the brand’s off limits states. These prohibited regions currently include Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Tennessee. We’ve reviewed how the availability of competitor apps like Underdog Predict compare to this in a table below. As all prediction trading apps come with different state by state rules – some of which might suit you better than others.

📱 Android and iOS Compatibility

Currently, you can get Underdog Predict on both the App Store and Google Play. And we think both apps are easy to use, fast acting and cleverly designed. However, we didn’t see any Underdog Predict welcome bonuses advertised on either app at the time of writing – which we think is a bit of a shame, as bonuses are sometimes available with other, similar brands.

Trading derivatives involves risk and may not be appropriate for all. For more information visit: https://www.nadex.com/rules and https://underdogfantasy.com/rules. For Crypto.com Predictions, the term “pick” refers to a product traded on CDNA.

Next – which other apps like Underdog Predict might be worth checking out?

Alternative prediction market apps that we think will appeal to fans of Underdog Predict include those currently offered by Kalshi, Polymarket and Crypto.com.

  • Competitors may cover more markets
  • Greater state-level availability
  • Pick from Android/iOS apps
  • Derivative trading carries risk

A closer look at the best apps like Underdog Predict…

While we believe Underdog Predict has a lot going for it, we also think alternative apps like Kalshi, Polymarket, and Crypto.com are equally worth checking out if the idea of buying and selling “yes” and “no” contracts tied to future event outcomes is something that interests you.

Here is a closer look at what these three prediction trading platforms have to offer:

Kalshi – best for sports market coverage

Kalshi
Kalshi: Pros and Cons
Kalshi: Pros and Cons
  • Find markets via search facility
  • Extensive range of prediction markets
  • Clear fees system
  • Large help center
  • Limited promos for existing customers

Kalshi offers opportunities to trade “yes” and “no” contracts across a wide variety of sports markets, including football, basketball, golf, soccer, NHL, tennis and more, making it very comparable to Underdog Predict. That said, the app’s coverage of other popular markets isn’t quite as extensive here as what you’ll find on, say, Crypto.com or Polymarket.

The brand’s affiliate, Kalshi Klear LLC, is CFTC-regulated. Meanwhile, Kalshi itself offers iOS and Android apps – which currently both have high 4.7 star ratings on the App Store and Google Play, with more than 100,000 reviews logged on each. We especially like Kalshi’s easy to read dashboard, and single click tabs for “Elections”, “Politics”, “Culture” and other key markets. While we were impressed to see a $25 refer a friend bonus advertised here at a time when Underdog Predict wasn’t displaying any similar promotions.

Polymarket – best for market variety

Polymarket
Polymarket: Pros and Cons
Polymarket: Pros and Cons
  • Plenty of prediction market topics
  • Trending and breaking areas of interest
  • Lots of predictions in all major subject areas
  • User-friendly site design
  • Gradual US rollout

Polymarket advertises itself as “the world’s largest prediction market”. And we tend to agree that when it comes to market breadth and variety, Polymarket tends to shine brighter than Underdog Markets, or other similar prediction trading apps. It offers particularly extensive coverage of geopolitical events, such as global elections, for example. As well as event contract trading opportunities across potential tech industry business outcomes, and weather forecast predictions.

The brand’s official iOS and Android apps aren’t quite as highly-rated as those offered by Kalshi. But we found Polymarket to be incredibly easy to navigate when compared to its other competitors, thanks largely to its color-coded “yes” and “no” buttons, intuitive search engine and logical filter options. Sadly, however, Polymarket wasn’t advertising a welcome bonus at the time of writing. Although they do have a “Liquidity Rewards Program” that rewards traders for especially competitive limit orders.

Crypto.com – best for politics and economics

Crypto.com
Crypto.com: Pros and Cons
Crypto.com: Pros and Cons
  • Sports, elections, culture, and economics markets
  • Low commission for trading
  • Supports USD and cryptocurrency payments
  • No crypto prediction markets

Crypto.com is a full service trading platform that now offers prediction trading across various popular event markets. However, unfortunately, the site’s widely advertised welcome bonus is not applicable to event contract traders at the time of writing.

On a brighter note, Crypto.com’s highly rated iOS and Android apps are available in English and more than 20 other languages, and cover dozens of different prediction trading markets, including popular and more niche options. Meanwhile, Crypto.com is secure, too – all its prediction trading opportunities are facilitated through Crypto.com Derivatives North America (CDNA). While CDNA itself is regulated by the CFTC. As it stands, we think the brand’s coverage of politics and economics markets is particularly good when compared to the app’s competitors. While we also like how frequently the contract options available are updated.

Sponsored by Crypto.com – Not investment advice. Trading prediction markets and crypto involves risk, including potential loss of your stake. Consider your risk tolerance before participating. Crypto.com connects U.S. users to CDNA (regulated by CFTC) for derivatives trading. CDNA membership required. Trading may not be suitable for all—you could lose your entire investment plus fees. Past performance doesn’t guarantee future results. This is not a solicitation or recommendation to trade.

How to sign up with apps like Underdog Predict

Before registering an account with any of the prediction trading platforms we reviewed above, we’d highly recommend reading up on how event contract trading works, the potential risks involved, and your preferred operator’s state by state rules and eligibility requirements.

In a nutshell, these apps let you trade “yes” and “no” outcomes on future events (such as whether Donald Trump will be re-elected), by purchasing individual contracts that will pay out at $1 each if you’re correct, and $0 each if you’re not. Contract prices fluctuate according to the market, risk is always involved, and there’s never any guarantee of winning anything. While of course, the rules, regulations and acceptance policies set by prediction trading hubs can vary significantly from brand to brand, as per our table above.

Nevertheless, those of you in eligible US states can typically sign up with Kalshi, Polymarket or Crypto.com by following some variation of these general registration steps:

  1. Click our links here to reach your preferred brand’s website – be sure to do this from a smartphone or tablet if you want to trade via their app.

  2. Tap to download the operator’s iOS or Android app, depending on your device.

  3. Enter your email address, or register via your Apple or Google account if this feature is offered.

  4. Provide your name, DOB, address and the last few digits of your Social Security Number (SSN) to pass any security checks.

  5. Upload some photo ID and proof of address if these are also requested to satisfy the app’s Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.

  6. Read and accept the app’s prediction trading T&Cs – paying special attention to any state-level rules.

  7. Add a payment method to fund your account – both fiat and crypto options may be available.

  8. Start browsing the prediction markets offered, and trading “yes” and “no” event contracts.
