    The 1927 Promotional War – By 1927, Mayor Bosse’s ban was over and Wrestling was back in Evansville and filling the Coliseum on a weekly basis under the guidance of the local Moose Lodge. But in the Spring, another lodge entered the fray and the battle for dominance began. Meanwhile, across the river in Illinois the sport was coming under scrutiny that would ripple down to the River City.
