NHL Predictions Today: Tampa Bay Lightning (-125)

It’s hard not to bet on the Tampa Bay Lightning at this moment. They currently hold a 3-0 series advantage against the arguably best hockey team throughout the regular season. It looks like the series will be over and Tampa Bay will complete the sweep.

This can be viewed in a variety of ways. Florida would win this game if they had any pride. The Lightning has been an even better team in this series, and the sweep seems likely at this point.

Given how well Tampa Bay has played through the first three games of this series, where they have only allowed three goals each, expect them to win Monday’s game and move on to the Conference Finals. Florida was the best regular-season team because of their offense, you need defense to win this time of year. The Panthers I think do have a lot of pride and they are at home, but the Lightning is just too good.
