Why You Should Look for Scrooge Casino Alternatives
If you’re already a fan of Scrooge Casino, then you don’t need me to highlight all the positives attached to this entertaining gaming site. But it’s not all sweetness and light here, as there’s definitely room for improvement in a few areas. There are a few negative aspects that players report coming across, with the following pain points all worth noting.
❌ Modest collection of games
Scrooge Casino plays host to a growing collection of slots, arcade and video table games, but the portfolio is certainly small compared to many other top sweepstakes sites. Take a look at some of my top recommendations and you’ll see that there’s plenty of choice available, with over 2.000 games available at Stake.us, for example.
❌ Customer support can be slow to respond
Although some players report a good response from the team at Scrooge Casino, there are more than a few complaints about delayed responses – or even no response at all, which certainly isn’t reassuring when you have an issue that needs resolving.
❌ Unclear redemption terms
The ability to redeem Sweeps Token winnings for real prizes is a big plus point at Scrooge Casino, but the sweepstakes rules could certainly be made clearer. A few players report problems with the process too, claiming to be blocked from the platform after trying to claim their prizes.
Scrooge Casino provides opportunities to play video table games, including video poker, but there are no live dealer options available at the time of writing. If you’re looking for a more authentic casino-style experience, take a look at my top recommendations for Scrooge Casino alternatives, such as Stake.us and RealPrize.

Scrooge Casino Sister Sites
If you’re hoping to find any true sister sites for Scrooge Casino then you’re going to be disappointed, at least for the time being. The platform is owned by SCROOGE LLC, and is the only social casino currently operated by the company.
It’s not all bad news, however, since I’ve selected the best alternatives to Scrooge Casino, all of which are highlighted on this page. I’ve made sure to include something to suit all types of players, so you’ll easily be able to identify free-to-play gaming sites that could have been created just for you – and with all the information you need to dive straight in!
Casinos With Best Games Like Scrooge Casino
The portfolio of games at Scrooge Casino may not be the biggest, but there’s something to suit most types of gamers. There are no live dealer games, but you can take your pick from slots, casual and fish games, as well as video casino-style favorites and video poker.
Whatever your personal favorites, I’ve done my best to present you with a variety of safe and reputable alternatives to Scrooge Casino. Start by taking a look through my list of recommendations, but note that the following brands are worth investigating, if you’re looking for something in particular.
Stake.us for a diverse collection of games
Launch Stake.us in your browser and you’d be forgiven for thinking you’d inadvertently landed at a real-money gaming site. This is a social casino though, complete with virtual currencies – and a huge welcome bonus of 560,000 Gold Coins, up to 25 Stake Cash and 3.5% rakeback when you input our exclusive promo code, TGTSOCIAL as you sign up.
Once you’ve logged into your account you can access hundreds of slots from top studios, along with an impressive collection of video and live table games. You can even play multiplayer poker games at Stake.us, as well as having free rein across the complete series of Stake Originals, including Crash, Plinko and Dragon Tower. There are scratch cards too, so there really is something to suit your every mood at this top sweepstakes gaming site.
WOW Vegas for hundreds of top slots
When it first launched back in 2021, WOW Vegas offered around 300 slots, but the collection has grown over time, now providing over 2,100 options, with more still to come. These are all top-tier games created by leading studios such as Booming Games, Hacksaw and Rogue. Over 36 developers contribute to the gaming catalog, and there’s even a collection of WOW Originals to add to the fun.
There are scratch cards, shooting games and even a small live social casino too, so you’ll never be short of something new to try when you sign up to this popular alternative to Scrooge Casino.
RealPrize for live dealer games
As you can probably tell, I’m a big fan of RealPrize, which seemingly came out of nowhere to become one of the top sweepstakes casinos in the US. There’s an excellent selection of slots, which already makes this a great Scrooge Casino alternative, but there’s so much more to discover as the brand adds new games and features to the site.
Scrooge Casino lacks any live dealer tables at present, but you’ll find them readily available at RealPrize. Whether your preference is for blackjack, baccarat or roulette – or even if you’re just starting out – this is a great opportunity to build on your knowledge, or refine your gaming strategy, without every needing to expose your bankroll to any risk.
Best Apps Like Scrooge Casino
All the top sweepstakes gaming sites, including Scrooge Casino, make sure to cater for mobile users when developing their platforms. This is essential in a world in which we all turn to our phones for entertainment on the go, and means there’s no need for dedicated apps. You won’t find any downloads available for Scrooge Casino, although this won’t negatively impact you if you favor using your mobile or tablet to access the site.
Some players still prefer to download and install native apps, where available, so a few social casinos go out of their way to provide them. So I’ve selected the following options for you to take a look at, including their ratings on the relevant app stores and information about their welcome bonuses.
| Apps like Scrooge Casino | Welcome bonus | App Store rating | Google Play rating |
| High 5 Casino | 400 Game Coins

Optional Gold Coin packages are always available for purchase, but this is purely optional, thanks to the ongoing bonuses and rewards on offer.
Be sure to take a look at the welcome offer at Stake.us, which is accessed via our exclusive promo code, TGTSOCIAL. Inputting it during registration awards up to 560,000 Gold Coins, 25 Stake Cash and an ongoing rakeback deal of 3.5% – perfect for exploring the full range of games on this entertaining platform.
You’ll already be aware of the games at Scrooge Casino, so you’ll likely be hoping to find more of the same, with plenty of new options to explore at your leisure. Scrooge Casino facilitates fast and efficient payments, so you’ll expect nothing less from any of my recommended alternatives. Once again, you can check out the main reviews here at The Grueling Truth for the complete picture, including the payment options for Gold Coin purchases and prize redemption processes at each site.
Every site on my list of suggestions has been extensively tried and tested, so when it comes to redeeming your Sweeps Coin winnings you can expect a smooth and seamless experience – subject to completing all necessary KYC checks, which are a legal requirement. Once again, Stake.us deserves a special mention for the speed of its crypto transactions, but Jackpota is also popular among players for easy prize redemptions that are usually processed exceptionally quickly.
Many sweepstakes casinos don’t go too far out of their way to provide an extensive customer support system, since you won’t ever be playing any of their games using real money. But I’ve chosen brands that always go the extra mile, so you can look forward to help that’s on hand whenever you might need it.
All my suggestions include a Help Center, so you might be able to resolve any issues without contacting the support team. A few of them, including Stake.us, offer live chat support, which is the quickest and easiest way of getting in touch. Once again, Jackpota scores extra brownie points here, with players frequently commenting on the team’s fast and efficient responses.

The ratings at Trustpilot confirm my own findings, with LoneStar and Jackpota scoring particularly highly, boasting 4.5* results. Stake.us and RealPrize are only slightly behind with scores of 4.4* each, whilst MegaBonanza comes in at a pleasing 4.1*. Bearing in mind that many players only review sites when they’ve run into problems, these results speak for themselves!
