The Jets and Raiders are both struggling entering this game at Quarterback. Aidan O’Connell has shown signs of promise, while Zach Wilson is still struggling in New York. The Raiders seemed to get an emotional lift after Josh McDaniels was fired.
O’Connell will make his second start for the Raiders against the Jets – passing for 206 yards on 64% completion with no touchdowns or interceptions – at 64% completion rate and not throwing touchdowns or interceptions against the Giants last week. Josh Jacobs had an outstanding game out of the backfield against the Giants, amassing 98 yards and two touchdowns while averaging 56.2 yards per game with five TDs average 56.2 yards per game since midseason trade rumors; Davante Adams remains with them after midseason,; while Jakobi Meyers provides solid second-receiver work at 55.3 average yards per game with five touchdowns average per game with 55.3 average and five scores as well.
New York has recently turned to Zach Wilson, as they have won three of four; let’s make it clear, that winning streak is not because of how well Wilson has played, it’s in spite of how he has played. When asked why Salah does not bench him in favor of Trevor Siemian he replied with: “I’ll plead the Fifth on this one — it has been explained very respectfully to me. Zach Wilson has averaged exactly 200 yards per game with a 5-5 touchdown-interception ratio while completing 59.9% of his passes. To improve this mark, his pocket decisions must become faster, as he was sacked eight times against the Chargers last week. Trevor Siemian stands ready to step in if New York becomes dissatisfied with Wilson. Breece Hall has been the team’s premier running back this season, averaging 61.6 yards per game while scoring two touchdowns. Dalvin Cook has recently expressed discontent at not receiving more touches in practice sessions. Cook has only averaged 15.1 yards per game this season. Garrett Wilson is an incredible talent at receiver; averaging 68.6 yards per game with two touchdowns already scored. Tyler Conklin is Wilson’s safety valve; he averages 36.6 yards per game without scoring yet.

The Raiders will win this game. It won’t be pretty, but Josh Jacobs running the ball will be the difference. Raiders 20Β Jets 16.
