The WSOP Main Event final table in 2022 will be split into two parts. The very first part started on Friday, July 15, and the second part, the day of the winner’s announcement, takes place on Saturday, July 16.
The daily event schedule for the 53rd World Series of Poker was announced in February. The WSOP moves to the Las Vegas Strip for the first time at Bally’s, the future Horseshoe, and Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. With over 200,000 square feet and 600 poker tables, it is the largest tournament capacity in the event’s history. The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino itself had a successful 17-year run.
The $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em World Championship, also known as the “Main Event,” is being hosted by the WSOP’s inaugural Master of Ceremonies, Vince Vaughn. The $5,000,000 guaranteed prize pool “The Housewarming” WSOP opening weekend event with a $500 buy-in is also part of the competition this year.
