David Tepper, the Carolina Panthers’ owner, hired Matt Rhule after he had turned around two colleges in Temple and Baylor. Rhule signed a seven-year contract worth $8.5 million to continue his magic.

Rhule could be in the hot seat for another losing season as expectations continue to rise.
