The rebuilding of the Oakland Athletics continues. The Athletics traded Christian Bethancourt, catcher, to the Tampa Bay Rays in exchange for Christian Fernandez and Cal Stevenson, minor leaguers. Check out the

Bethancourt will be joining his fourth Major League team at the big-league level. He previously played for the Atlanta Braves from 2013 to 2015. He also played with the San Diego Padres in 2016-17 and the Oakland Athletics in 2022. Bethancourt played in the minor leagues of the Milwaukee Brewers and Philadelphia Phillies during the open four-year period. Bethancourt also spent more than a season with NC Dinos in the KBO League.
