Independence Day is just around the corner and Seneca Resorts & Casinos is planning to celebrate July 4 in a big way. The company will be hosting two massive fireworks shows at its Niagara Falls properties – Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino and Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino.
Every year, Seneca Resorts has always put Independence Day weekend on its main agenda. For those who want to spend this July 4 celebration in a memorable fashion, everyone is welcome to enjoy the annual show at Niagara Falls.
Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino will begin the celebration on Saturday, July 2, 2022. The fireworks show is scheduled at approximately 9:40 p.m. In addition, Seneca Niagara Resort and Casino & Resort will host its ceremony on July 4 at around 9:40 p.m as well.
However, for this year, the casinos decided that public viewing areas on-site won’t be available, but both shows are accessible from the surrounding area. Niagara Fall Mayor Robert Restaino said that the city is proud and excited to offer the celebrations for the Fourth of July this entire weekend.
Mayor Restaino also noted that in this divisive time, this event hopefully could be a beacon for patriotism and unity.
President & CEO of Seneca Gaming Corporation Kevin Nephew highlighted that Niagara Falls is the place to commemorate the national holidays both in the United States and Canada.
“The holiday weekend is always a highlight of the summer and a time for celebration and coming together,” said Nephew. “We’re happy to be part of that excitement and to celebrate together with our guests, friends and neighbors in Salamanca, Niagara Falls and throughout the region.”
He also added that the company is looking forward to this event as the place to go for friends and families this Fourth of July.
Seneca Resorts & Casinos has been contributing to many places, including to local communities impacted by Buffalo mass shooting on May 14 in New York. The company successfully delivered over 700 pounds of food and items to the FeedMore WNY warehouse. Seneca Casinos also organized donation efforts for around 3,000 employees across its three casinos.
