Morocco to their credit have already achieved more than they could have imagined as they’ve become the very first African team to make it to the semi’s. The defending champions, France managed to get to the semi’s after a tough challenge by England but thanks to THAT penalty miss they find themselves fighting an unlikely contender with a very different challenge.

Although an international contest Morocco should feel at home thanks to the flocks of fans that have made their way to Qatar to witness history in the making. Of course with Morocco being the underdogs of this contest, the odds will reflect this. The North African team have been extremely defensive and they might struggle to find the back of the net against Les Bleus. However, this didn’t stop them when they stepped up against Portugal. But the French team is a different beast altogether with their offensive attacks, Morocco could soon find themselves overwhelmed.

If there’s anything to go by it’s that France will need to knock very hard on Morocco’s door, that much is clear. There were many in doubt that Morocco would beat Portugal in 90 minutes of play and that they did with a host of injuries too! But whilst Portugal and Spain used their young but inexperienced athletes against the North African nation, France will know exactly how to attack them.

Some picks will be 1-0 France correct score, Mbappe, Giroud anytime goal scorers and Griezmann for anytime assist. It’s key that France get an early goal in because if they don’t, panic might set into the team whilst Morocco’s belief will grow ever more presently and that’s a recipe for one of the greatest games of soccer we’ve seen in a while.
