The Nuggets signed Kentavious Caldwell–Pope to a $30 million, two-year contract. Multiple sources claim that the deal includes a second-year player option. Last season, he played in and started in 77 games for the Wizards. The nine-year veteran guard shot 43% from the floor and 39% from three-point range. Per Basketball-Reference, the guard is projected to average 14.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals per game in the 2022-23 season. His defense has been solid.
