The Nuggets signed Kentavious Caldwell–Pope to a $30 million, two-year contract. Multiple sources claim that the deal includes a second-year player option. Caldwell-Pope averaged 13.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.1 steals per NBA season with the Wizards in 2021-22. Check out the

Last season, he played in and started in 77 games for the Wizards. The nine-year veteran guard shot 43% from the floor and 39% from three-point range. Per Basketball-Reference, the guard is projected to average 14.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals per game in the 2022-23 season. His defense has been solid.

Kentavious Caldwell–Pope Is A Consistent Defender
The Wizards traded Ish Smith and Caldwell–Pope to the Nuggets last week for Will Barton and Monte Morris. Caldwell-Pope made $13,038,862 in the 2021-22 season with the Wizards. The guard averaged at least one steal in five of his nine NBA seasons.

Caldwell-Pope helped the Lakers’ backcourt during The 2020 NBA Playoffs.
The importance of the guard also marked the Lakers’ 2019-20 season. Caldwell Pope scored 18 points during the first round 2020 NBA Playoffs. His team beat the Nuggets 126 to114 in Game 1.
He also scored 17 points on 46% shooting from below in the Lakers’ 106 to 93 victory against the Heat in Game 6 in the 2020 NBA Finals.
The Lakers won their 17th title due to his playoff performances and the efforts of LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
