Louisiana’s Paragon Casino Resort to launch 150 brand-new gaming machines

Louisiana-based casino, Paragon Casino Resort, is reportedly trying out different technologies, including the installation of 150 new gaming machines on the casino floor, as part of an effort to improve a number of its entertainment offerings.

The new machines consist of “Las Vegas-style” and “bingo-style” slot machines, making Paragon the only casino in the State of Louisiana to offer its patrons both forms of gaming equipment.

Approximately 15 percent of the roughly 1,000 machines already on the casino floor will be replaced by the new gaming slots. Users will be able to play games such as Wealth of Coins, Dancing Lion, and Golden Blessings on these machines.

Senior general manager of Paragon Casino Resort, Marshall Ray Sampson, said in a statement, “Paragon Casino Resort is continuously exploring new technology and revitalizing our offerings to enhance the gaming experience of our guests.”

“With the recent upgrades to our gaming floor and other areas of our campus, Paragon Casino Resort is ready to welcome both regular visitors and new guests this fall,” Sampson concluded.

The Cashnado and Lantern of Destiny on Flex are two slot machines that the Paragon research team has targeted as several gaming technologies, especially as purchasing new gaming machines has been a long-term goal for Paragon Casino Resort. Both machines provide significant prizes to Paragon players, which will enhance their experience in the casino.

In addition, to diversify its offerings, Paragon is actively acquiring additional bingo-style slots like Crazy Cherry Jewel Hunt, Mr. Money Bags, and the Polar High Roller Jewel Hunt.

With the inclusion of in-person sports betting, Paragon Casino Resort became a pioneer in broadening gaming products in Louisiana, especially in addition to new machines.

In October 2021, Paragon was also the first facility in Louisiana to allow on-site sports betting.

According to Paragon Casino Resort’s owner Marshall Pierite, the additional in-person sports betting and new machines will provide gamers in Louisiana with new opportunities.

“In-person sports betting and our new machines have opened a new realm of opportunity for Paragon Casino Resort, the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe and players within Louisiana,” Pierite said.

“Paragon Casino Resort now offers a robust gaming experience with the latest gaming technology and hardware to all guests,” he concluded.
