Altenar, Casino Gran Madrid announce joint collaboration

Altenar, the main sportsbook supplier for the iGaming industry from Latin America, has agreed to provide its premium sportsbook and platform to Casino Gran Madrid in Spain.

Altenar has been in business since 2011, and they have worked with some of the industry’s biggest names. With this agreement, Altenar cements its position as one of Europe’s leading technology providers, bringing its market-leading sportsbook answer to even more Spanish bettors.

The platform has a broad spectrum of applications, including Esports, data, and retail specializations, as well as an EGR award-winning selection of virtuals.

The collaboration with Gran Casino Madrid comes on the heels of Altenar’s development of an in-house retail terminal, which the company claims has effectively reached across Spain, Latin America, and Belgium.

Alejandro Cazorla, Sales Manager at Altenar expressed his company’s enthusiasm for recent collaboration in Spain. “We are delighted to be fuelling growth at Casino Gran Madrid with our top-tier sportsbook.”

According to him, the leading sportsbook is committed to providing the best possible betting experiences for Spanish bettors, “We look forward to collaborating with our newfound partners to provide an even more satisfying betting experience to the Spanish customer base.”

Domenico Mazzola, the company’s Chief Commercial Officer at the time, listed Spain, along with the United Kingdom, Italy, and South America, as a primary target market for Alentar in an interview with SBC News.

“We are looking to strengthen our position in certain regulated markets like Italy, Spain, the UK and also in South America.” the former CCO said to SBC News.

According to Mazzola, Altenar believes it can compete with the already established sportsbooks in those markets, “We believe that we are representing the top one or two sports betting suppliers in those regions.”

Cazorla stated that the partnership with Casino Gran Madrid shows the company’s commitment to the Spanish market, “This partnership is indicative of the continued progress we are seeing as a company, and the evidence is clear that our presence in Europe is as strong as ever.”

Altenar partnered with Colombia’s Vinnare Group to expand further into Latin America. Colombia was the first Latin American country to implement gambling laws.

Furthermore, Altenar fulfilled its promise to expand its online presence a few months ago in Belgium, having already launched its next-generation betting terminal with Golden Palace.
