This is a rematch from last season which saw the Gators upset the highly-ranked Utes. Can Florida pull it off again? It will be harder as the scene has shifted to Utah where the Utes are almost unbeatable.
The Utes ended their year with a 10-4 mark, and their last game saw them lose against the Penn State Nittany Lions in the Rose Bowl. Bryson Barnes (1 touchdown) completed 112 yards through the air while maintaining a QB rate of 109 in this matchup. Utah quarterback Ja’Quinden Jackson had one interception and averaged 5.9 yards per attempt during this match-up for Utah. Additionally, Utah ran 83 plays at an average pace of 4.7 yards per play to finish with 391 total yards for their opponents to cover in this contest. Utah’s issue at the moment will be who will play quarterback. Cam Rising is still questionable and his backup is banged up.
