Bittencourt brings considerably more professional experience.

The Brazilian enters at 16-4, with six knockouts and seven submissions among his victories. Thirteen of his 16 wins have therefore come inside the distance, demonstrating that he is dangerous both standing and on the ground.

His résumé also contains an important LFA connection. The promotion notes that Bittencourt owns victories over both Eduardo Chapolin and Marcos Degli, fighters LFA identifies as its current flyweight champions. He also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2023.

The matchup should revolve around Lozej’s size and striking against Bittencourt’s experience and submission threat.

Lozej should try to maintain distance, use his longer frame and force Bittencourt to cross open space before attacking. His left hook has become particularly dangerous; it hurt Ibarra twice in their April fight before Lozej finished the second sequence with ground strikes.
