The Boston Bruins will face the Toronto Maple Leafs, with both teams hoping to stay near the top of the Eastern Conference. The Bruins are in first place in the Atlantic Division with a 38-7-5 record, but they have lost three straight games. With three wins in four of their last four games, the Maple Leafs are now in second place in Atlantic Division with a record 31-12-8. Both teams are looking to improve their division and will look to head into the All-Star break with a win. The upcoming game should prove to be a memorable one.
The Bruins are enjoying a fantastic season, with their offense scoring 3.70 goals per match. David Pastrnak David Krejci, and Brad Marchand have combined for 66 goals, and 92 assists, but the rest has been fantastic also. Patrice Bergeron and Taylor Hall have combined for 42 goals, and 61 assists, while defensemen Hampus Lindholm, Charlie McAvoy and Pavel Zacha have contributed ten goals and 53 assists from point to elevate the offense.
While the offense has been outstanding, the defense has improved and allows only 2.12 goals per match. Hampus Lindholm, Matt Grzelcyk, and Connor Clifton have combined for 8.3 defensive points shares, and 125 blocked shots. Brandon Carlo and Charlie McAvoy each have a 9.0 defensive share to increase the unit’s depth. Linus Ullmark, the goaltender, has performed admirably with a.936 save rate and 1.90 goals-against average on 927 shots.
The Maple Leafs are enjoying a fantastic season. Their offense is scoring 3.39 goals per match, with 15 goals in their last four games. William Nylander, Mitch Marner and Calle Jarnkrok have led the top two lines with 46 goals and 71 assists respectively. John Tavares and Michael Bunting have combined for 47 goals, 63 assists, while defensemen Morgan Rielly, and Calle Jarnkrok, have scored a total of 62 goals. Mark Giordano To open up the offense, we have added four goals to the point and 36 assists.
While the offense has been outstanding, the defense has improved and allows only 2.65 goals per match. To add depth and diversity to the unit, Timothy Liljegren and Mark Giordano have combined for 6.4 defensive points shares, and 159 blocked shots. Justin Holl has a 4.9 defensive share while Rasmus Sandin and Rasmus Sandin have combined to score 4.9. Ilya Samsonov, the goaltender, has performed admirably with a.917 save rate and a 2.31 goals-against average on 653 shots.
This will be an exciting game between two of the NHL’s best teams. While the Maple Leafs are looking to win at home, the Bruins hope to rebound from three losses and take control of this game. With Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak controlling the puck in their offensive zone, the Bruins will have plenty of scoring opportunities. They also create open shots and great puck movement, which should give them plenty of chances to score. The Bruins should limit the Maple Leafs’ offense by allowing 2.12 goals per match. Hampus Lindholm and Brandon Carlo are the two main defensive units. They also create turnovers in their defensive zone, which limits shots and allows Linus Ullmark to make many big saves. I like Tornto to take this game at home though, they have played better than the Bruins as of late.

If you are betting on the Leafs to win, the payoff will be decent, and I think the Wings will win this game. For example, a few days before the game, the odds range to +110 if you are betting on the leafs to win. If you bet 100 on the Wings to win S/U, the payout would be 210 dollars, which means you would get back the 100 you bet and the other 110 for winning the bet. The best bet is betting on the Leafs S/U to win.
