Game one shootout!
Not many predicted that the first game between the Edmonton Oilers & Colorado Avalanche would end with 14 goals, people did think it would be high-scoring but 14 goals is much more than was expected. The Colorado Avalanche won an impressive 8-6 victory over a formidable Oilers team and took a lead of 1-0 in this series. Check out the

While Colorado received a lot of contributions from most players on Tuesday’s ice, Cale Makar was the star as he scored 3 points.

The Avalanche will beat the Oilers.
It’s hard to argue that any hockey team right now is more powerful than the Colorado Avalanche. This team finished with the second most points in hockey during the regular season. They’ve also been dominant through the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Colorado won in a sweep of the Nashville Predators, and they were able then to defeat a strong St. Louis Blues team in six.
The Edmonton Oilers may be able to give the Avalanche a run for their money, despite them being the best hockey team. Connor McDavid is the Edmonton Oilers’ most effective hockey player and the Oilers have shown the ability to win on the road during these playoffs.
Avalanche Vs Oilers Odds to Win The Series
The series odds for the Colorado Avalanche and Edmonton Oilers series are quite interesting. The Avalanche will be the big favorite going into game 2, which could suggest that it’s a good time to invest in the Oilers. We cannot count out Connor McDavid, and with the odds that the Oilers are getting it seems like a good time for some money.
Here are the odds of winning the series between the Avalanche and Oilers at Caesars Sportsbook
The second game between the Colorado Avalanche (and the Edmonton Oilers) will begin on Thursday, June 2. The game will begin at 8 EST at the Pepsi Centre in Colorado.
