Week one is officially in the books! We are finally seeing what these teams look like after months of analysis. Week one is always wild, and full of surprises, and this week was no different. I also want to remind everyone not to overreact to what happens in week one! Where does your favorite team land? Scroll down and find out in the 2026 NFL Power Rankings: Week 2!

1. Seattle Seahawks (Last week: 3)

Result: W vs Patriots 13-10

Super Bowl rematch went their way, but Sam Darnold will miss a few weeks due to a hip injury. Can Drew Lock help keep the offense afloat? The defense is legit.

2. Buffalo Bills (Last week: 4)

Result: W vs Texans 36-31

Josh Allen continues to show why he is one of the elite QB’s in the NFL right now. He scored four total touchdowns, and handled what many expect to be a championship level defense.

3. Philadelphia Eagles (Last week: 5)

Result: W vs Commanders 24-22

A win is a win, but this game was fugly. The defense was solid, but the offense disappointed. Hurts threw three touchdowns, but questions about the passing game remain.

4. Los Angeles Rams (Last week: 1)

Result: L vs 49ers 27-7

Garrett got hurt, Stafford looked awful, and maybe showing up in Australia the day before the game was a bad idea.

5. Cincinnati Bengals (Last week: 11)

Result: W vs Bucs 33-27

If Cincy’s defense plays this way all season, the sky is the limit for this team. Burrow and Chase won’t have many off weeks like this moving forward.

6. Denver Broncos (Last week: 2)

Result: L vs Chiefs 31-10

The defense, which many expected to be elite, was nowhere to be found. They let Kenneth Walker run wild. The offense was also a no show. Just terrible all around.

7. Houston Texans (Last week: 7)

Result: L vs Bills 36-31

Nice to see the offense put up 31 points, but the defense was surprisingly a total let down. David Montgomery contributed three touchdowns in his debut.

8. New England Patriots (Last week: 6)

Result: L vs Seahawks 13-10

Defense played well, but this was a sloppy game. Throwing three picks is gross, but Maye will be fine. Losing AJ Brown for up to six weeks is rough.

9. Detroit Lions (Last week: 12)

Result: W vs Saints 31-30

Elite offense, subpar defense. Hopefully the team brings in a legit backup running back to Gibbs doesn’t have to handle 30 plus touches every game. Branch and Joseph can’t come back soon enough.

10. Baltimore Ravens (Last week: 13)

Result: W vs Colts 41-23

Lamar (324 passing yards) to Flowers (150 receiving yards) is something special. Henry ran for 144 yards and three touchdowns. He is now third all-time in rushing touchdowns, passing Marcus Allen.

11. Los Angeles Chargers (Last week: 8)

Result: L vs Cardinals 26-14

I’ll just chalk this up to week one tomfoolery. The Chargers will be fine, but the offensive line has to get it together. Herbert and Hampton have to be better.

12. Dallas Cowboys (Last week: 9)

Result: L vs Giants 28-20

An offense expected to be one of the league’s best was only able to muster 244 total yards. They were outgained on the ground by almost 100 yards (69 to 165). The revamped defense failed to show up, allowing almost 400 yards.

13. Kansas City Chiefs (Last week: 14)

Result: W vs Broncos 31-10

Walker (173 rushing yards, 2 total TD’s) carried this offense on his back on a night Mahomes struggled. The defense held Denver to just 176 yards of total offense. Hopefully Mansoor (shoulder injury) is ok.

14. San Francisco 49ers (Last week: 15)

Result: W vs LA Rams 27-7

The injuries piled up during training camp and the preseason, but that didn’t matter – this team dominated. Purdy and the rushing attack were very efficient.

15. Chicago Bears (Last week: 16)

Result: W vs Panthers 59-37

291 yards rushing as a team, including both Swift and Monangai topping 100 yards. Defense HAS to be better – giving up 37 points is disgusting.

16. Green Bay Packers (Last week: 10)

Result: L vs Vikings 39-22

Love put up 387 yards but didn’t play well, the rushing attack was atrocious (66 yards on 21 attempts), and the team fell apart in the second half. They have to be a LOT better moving forward.

17. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Last week: 17)

Result: L vs Bengals 33-27

Tampa Bay played well enough to stay in it ‘til the end, but fumbles killed them. The lack of explosive plays on offense didn’t help.

18. Jacksonville Jaguars (Last week: 19)

Result: W vs Browns 34-10

Trevor Lawrence continues to light it up in the regular season (4 passing TD’s). The defense is going to be a problem for opposing offenses.

19. New York Giants (Last week: 20)

Result: W vs Cowboys 28-20

Dart showed up, completing 79% of his passes and throwing three touchdowns. They went 9 for 11 on third down, and controlled the clock. The defense held a prolific offense to just 244 total yards. Week one couldn’t have gone any better for Big Blue.

20. Minnesota Vikings (Last week: 18)

Result: W vs Packers 39-22

No Kyler, no problem. After Murray went down with a concussion early on, Wentz threw three touchdowns in relief. The offense wasn’t special, but it did score 29 unanswered second half points.

21. Pittsburgh Steelers (Last week: 21)

Result: W vs Falcons 20-13

Close win against a backup quarterback, but a dub is a dub. The offense has got to be better. 3 for 13 on third down and 264 total offensive yards isn’t going to cut it most weeks.

22. New Orleans Saints (Last week: 23)

Result: L vs Lions 31-30

This game was a tale of two halves. First half, Shough was butt, and the Saints scored zero points. Second half, Shough has 252 passing yards and two TD’s, and the Saints drop 30 points. New Orleans can make some noise if second half Shough shows up consistently.

23. Washington Commanders (Last week: 25)

Result: L vs Eagles 24-22

The offensive line (and the offense as a whole) struggled. Daniels wasn’t great, but he got no help from the rushing attack. This was an ugly game.

24. Indianapolis Colts (Last week: 22)

Result: L vs Ravens 41-23

Indy’s defense was downright bad in this one. They allowed 5.5 yards per carry and 13 yards per pass attempt. At least Jonathan Taylor had a good day for fantasy owners.

25. Carolina Panthers (Last week: 24)

Result: L vs Bears 59-37

The defense was an utter embarrassment, but at least Bryce Young went in. Young had four total touchdowns and threw for 361 yards. Young franchise QB breakout year incoming?

26. New York Jets (Last week: 28)

Result: W vs Titans 23-10

Geno was efficient, the offense didn’t turn the ball over, and the defense allowed only 195 total yards. 2 for 12 on third down, however, isn’t going to cut it against better competition.

27. Atlanta Falcons (Last week: 26)

Result: L vs Steelers 20-13

Bijan Robinson is amazing, but unless this team gets competent QB play, it’s going to be a long season in Atlanta. Defense playing well was a bright spot. Is it Penix time soon?

28. Arizona Cardinals (Last week: 30)

Result: W vs Chargers 26-14

Gotta love week one! This was the big upset of the week. Brissett was efficient, and the defense made Herbert uncomfortable all day.

29. Las Vegas Raiders (Last week: 29)

Result: W vs Dolphins 27-13

The defense played really well in this one, albeit against arguably the worst team in the league. After an injury scare entering week one, Jeanty looked good (147 total yards, two receiving touchdowns).

30. Tennessee Titans (Last week: 27)

Result: L vs NY Jets 23-10

Ward’s horrendous play from his rookie season has carried over into this season. 4.4 passing yards per attempt is completely unacceptable. The ground game offered absolutely no help, either.

31. Cleveland Browns (Last week: 31)

Result: L vs Jaguars 34-10

This offense is going to be hard to watch. It’s only a matter of time before we see Shedeur Sanders.

32. Miami Dolphins (Last week: 32)

Result: L vs Raiders 27-13

The offense was bad. The defense was meh. I know it was week one, but Miami is gonna suck. Miami. Your team. Woof.
