Week 10 of the UFL season delivered everything the league has become known for in 2026—late-game drama, playoff implications, stunning momentum swings, and a reminder that nobody is safe heading into the final stretch.
With the regular season officially in the books, the absolute chaos of the postseason race has finally settled. The final ticket has been punched, dominant streaks were extended, and the four teams left standing are preparing for a maximum-stakes playoff bracket.
Most importantly, Week 10 proved one thing: The road to the United Bowl is officially set, and it’s going to be a wild ride.
The Dallas Renegades kicked off the weekend by spoiling the party in St. Louis on Friday night, riding a relentless pass rush to edge out the playoff-bound Battlehawks 20–16.
The Houston Gamblers’ dominant first half paved the way for a 26–13 victory on Saturday afternoon, officially crushing the postseason dreams of the Birmingham Stallions.
The Orlando Storm stayed red-hot on Sunday, holding off a late push from the DC Defenders for a 29–23 win to secure the league’s top overall seed.
The Louisville Kings punched the final ticket to the postseason dance in the regular-season finale, exploding offensively to defeat the Columbus Aviators 42–27.
Playoff-bound and absolutely rolling. With a postseason berth on the line, the Kings left zero doubt in a high-stakes regular-season finale against Columbus. Louisville’s offense erupted in a 42–27 victory, powered by QB N’Kosi Perry’s three touchdown passes and a stellar 99-yard rushing performance from Ian Wheeler. Capping off a four-game winning streak to end the season, the Kings are officially peaking at the perfect time.
The regular season belongs to Orlando. The Storm capped off an outstanding 8–2 campaign by handling the Defenders 29–23 on Sunday. Driven by consecutive scoring drives in the second half and a clutch 49-yard field goal from Michael Lantz, Orlando locked down their fourth straight victory. They enter the playoffs as the clear team to beat.
Ending a frustrating season on a high note. While Dallas was already out of the playoff hunt, they played the ultimate spoiler on Friday night by taking down St. Louis 20–16. QB Austin Reed tossed three touchdowns—two to a dominant Emmanuel Butler—while the Renegades’ defense completely terrorized the Battlehawks’ passing game. It’s a massive confidence booster heading into the offseason.
A textbook definition of finishing strong. Houston left no room for hope for Birmingham on Saturday, building a commanding 17–0 lead by halftime. Running back Marcus Major was unstoppable, finding the end zone twice, including an explosive 72-yard house call that slammed the door shut on any potential Stallions comeback. They finish the year at 4–6 with plenty of optimism for the future.
A heartbreaking end to the 2026 campaign. Facing a must-win scenario to keep their playoff hopes alive, the Stallions stumbled mightily out of the gate against Houston. Despite a brief spark from safety Alex Cook’s 30-yard pick-six, the offense struggled to move the chains, completing under 50% of their passes in the 26–13 loss. A season that once held so much promise ends just short of the postseason dance.
A wake-up call at the worst possible time. Having already secured their playoff spot, the Battlehawks looked entirely out of sync against Dallas on Friday. The offensive line collapsed under pressure, allowing quarterback Luis Perez to be sacked seven times while throwing two costly interceptions. St. Louis has the talent to go all the way, but they have to clean up the protection before next weekend.
The slide continues. The Defenders fought valiantly to claw back and tie the game at 17 apiece in the second half against Orlando, but they ultimately couldn’t get the defensive stops when it mattered most. Marking their fourth consecutive loss to close out the regular season, D.C. limps into the postseason devoid of any momentum.
Too many mistakes in the shootout. Columbus traded blows in a wildly entertaining, 49-point first half against Louisville, but they completely ran out of gas in the final frames. Throwing a costly pick-six early and struggling to finish drives in the fourth quarter cost them dearly, putting a definitive end to their inaugural UFL season.
Forget the regular-season standings. Forget the stats from April. The UFL postseason is entirely about who can handle the single-elimination pressure right now.
The hottest teams in the league are undoubtedly Orlando and Louisville, both riding four-game winning streaks into June. D.C. is desperately searching for answers to snap out of a month-long funk, while St. Louis needs to quickly recapture the resilient identity that carried them early in the year.
That’s what makes this playoff field so fascinating: The slate is wiped completely clean.

Four teams remain. Two games next weekend. And right now, the race to the United Bowl is anyone’s to take.
