Top 10

You win in the trenches at all levels of football, and today we will look at the top 10 offensive lines heading into the 2022 season. Check out the best new betting sites for betting on the NFL.

10. Cincinnati Bengals

Last year, the offensive line was a mess, but the additions of La’el Collins, Alex Cappa, and Ted Karras should push it toward the league average. If former second-round pick Jackson Carman shows signs of life after a miserable rookie year, this unit could be even better than 10th.

9. Buffalo Bills

The Bills’ patchwork offensive unit, which doesn’t include a former first-round pick on their depth chart, has become one of the league’s most stable units. Despite the absence of talent in the backfield, the offensive line has produced a consistent run-game output with the league’s 10th-best rate; Buffalo’s runningbacks rushed at least three yards before contact in 2021.

8. Indianapolis Colts

Indy’s running game could be at an elite level if the offensive line can block for Jonathan Taylor more effectively. On 49% of the carries, Colts running backs were hit at or behind the line of scrimmage. This ranks 27th.

7. San Francisco 49ers

There has been some turnover in the 49ers’ offensive line, with the most notable being the retirement of center Alex Mack. A line that Trent Williams anchors with Mike McGlinchey has a high ceiling.

6. Baltimore Ravens

Because the Ravens’ offensive line was among the league’s most dysfunctional units last season, we are betting on their good health. Ravens quarterbacks were under pressure in 2.5 seconds or less, at a league-worst rate of  28%. The unit should be back on track with the return of Ronnie Stanley as well as the additions of  Tyler Linderbaum and Morgan Moses.

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa’s outstanding offensive line will be without Ali Marpet or Alex Cappa. They were replaced by Shaq Mason as well as second-round draft Luke Goedeke. Although it’s a minor downgrade, the tackles are still the proper anchors for this unit. Donovan Smith was ranked ninth in left tackles for pressure rate allowed. Tristan Wirfs was ranked second among right tackles.

4. Detroit Lions

In Week 9, Taylor Decker was back in Detroit. The offensive line allowed pressure to build in 2.5 seconds on 17.3% dropbacks, the fourth-lowest rate in that period. Decker’s return also saw Penei Sewell move to right tackle, ranking fifth in the league for pressure rate allowed.

3. Kansas City Chiefs

The rebuilt offensive line in Kansas City lived up to its expectations, and the whole unit is back. The Chiefs’ running backs, who ran at least three yards before the Chiefs touched them on 30 per cent of their carries, were provided with this line. It is the league’s highest rate. 2. Cleveland Browns

For the second consecutive year, our top-ranked offensive team is the Browns. However, Cleveland didn’t receive one first-place vote. This ranking flaw occurred because the Browns were ranked second on all ballots, while first-place voters had a wider range. Despite losing the center, J.C. Tretter is optimistic about this unit, despite losing center J.C.

1. Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles’ offensive line won some first-place votes. It looks like a potential dominant unit. Good health will be the key to their success. The league’s fourth-most number of offensive line combinations, Philly had 14, and it was the most diverse.
