Stefon Diggles is a top weapon in the league, but the Bills have no proven depth. The high end of the spectrum is possible if Gabriel Davis can prove himself to be a reliable second choice. I think Davis will prove himself, and by year’s end, they will rank higher than number ten.

Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen form Minnesota’s wide receiver duo. However, the unit is limited by a lack of depth. The team seems to be hoping K.J. will make some meaningful additions in the offseason. Osborn will be able to increase his output in his third season.
8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The rankings of Tampa’s pass catchers have dropped from last season, with Antonio Brown not in town and Chris Godwin recovering from injury. Rob Gronkowski is also now retired. This also reduces the depth. Gronk, Brown and 31% of all team receptions were on targets at least 10 yards downfield.
7. Seattle Seahawks
If DK Metcalf isn’t traded, Seattle has at least some quality weapons to help them through the season. Metcalf is a known deep threat. However, Tyler Lockett finished third in league receptions for throws of 15 or more yards downfield. Dee Eskridge was disappointing as a rookie, but he has the potential to be a deep, well-rounded unit.
6. Philadelphia Eagles
A.J. Brown made the Eagles pass catchers a top-tier unit. His skills as a larger, more physically-skilled receiver with slot/outside versatility compliment Devonta Smith perfectly.
5. Miami Dolphins
Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill have the potential to become an electric duo. Waddle’s performance as a rookie in an efficient offense was remarkable. The lack of depth is the weakness in this unit. We assume Deebo Samuel will be suiting up for the 49ers in this season’s playoffs. Their pass catchers were among the top five on each ballot. The unit could have been ranked number one if we could guarantee a healthy season from George Kittle.
3. Los Angeles Rams
Cooper Kupp led the league in almost every receiving category. He could also carry any receiving unit up to an above-average one. Although OBJ is lost, the addition of Allen Robinson gives this offense a larger body than it had previously.
2. Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders’ pass catchers are now in the top tier with Davante Adams. Few teams can match Adams, Darren Waller, and Hunter Renfrow.
1. Cincinnati Bengals
While we were positive about adding Ja’Marr Chase to the Bengals’ pass-catchers last year, the unit exceeded our expectations. The Bengals were the only team with three pass-catchers (Chase Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd) combined to average at least 8.0 yards per target and a minimum of 800 yards receiving.
