Overrated Free Agents!
Melvin Gordon, Running Back
Gordon is now 29 years old and has carried the ball more than 1,500 times in his career. All of those stats scream, risky investment! Gordon is projected to receive the second-most-guaranteed money at running back in free agency. Through in the fact that since 2018 Gordon has been a very unreliable receiver out of the backfield and you have a player that’s risk is much larger than his reward.

Mitchell Trubisky, Quarterback
Trubisky was an abject failure in Chicago and to think that he will be highly sought after is absolutely mind-blowing! He is an inaccurate passer that lacks the ability to throw the ball accurately deep and his decision making is beyond questionable. If the last four years didn’t convince you that Trubisky is a bad investment I don’t know what to tell you, but some team is about to find out.
Evan Engram, Tight End
Engram is projected to receive top-10 tight end money on an annual basis in free agency. Which if you look at his production over the last five years is insane! Engram has been a bust ever since he was drafted by the Giants and I really don’t know what anybody sees in him. He has graded out as a bottom third of the league tight end for the majority of his bad career.
Cam Robinson, Offensive Tackle
Robinson is projected to earn a three-year, $40.5 million deal in free agency! That is unreal when you look at Robinson’s body of work, which has been inconsistent at best. He has improved in pass protection but that’s not saying much. If you want to see how bad the talent level is at Tackle in the NFL go watch some Cam Robinson film.

Marquez Valdez-Scantling, WR
Scantling has blazing speed but the production does not match the speed! To say Scantling is inconsistent would be an understatement. Scantling has struggled to win at the catch point with just 14 contested catches on 48 such targets in his career. He’s a boom-or-bust weapon, and most of the time he has been a bust and this was with an MVP quarterback throwing to him.
