Patrick Mahomes, the NFL MVP, is the main reason that the Chiefs have been successful. Mahomes lost Tyreek Hill as his primary deep threat, but he didn’t let that stop him from throwing 41 touchdowns and 5,250 yards while completing 67%. Mahomes and Chiefs were more meticulous this season than in previous years, with 31 of Mahomes’ touchdowns going for less than 10 yards, but not less effective. Mahomes completed 69.9%, throwing for 521 yards and four touchdowns in the playoffs despite an ankle injury. Mahomes is determined to forget the Super Bowl loss in Tampa two years ago.

Hurts ran for more than 700 yards and 13 touchdowns. He might have been the frontrunner to win MVP if he hadn’t missed two games due to a sore shoulder. Hurts will try to lead the Eagles to their second Super Bowl title.
The Eagles are better up front on both sides of the ball. The Chiefs have the better quarterback, but I think the Eagles, when this game is on the ground and with a run game getting it done, expect Jalen Hurts to make an impact from time to time.
