Yes, I said 2027. Today I thought it would be interesting to look at who might be the top 10 NFL QB’s a decade from now. You know, when Brady, Rodgers, Ryan etc. have ridden off into the sunset.
Francois took over from Saints legend Drew Brees and has had an excellent start to his career. He is nowhere near the player Brees was, but his ability to use his legs gives the Saints an added dimension that Brees didn’t.
Eason has been a solid replacement for Eli Manning and has surprised a lot of people with the successes he has attained in the NFL.
Bridgewater has had a solid career with the Vikings after a horrific injury early in his career.
Wilson has slowed down over the last few years, but is still a dangerous force in any game he plays.
Luck revived his career after going to Miami as a free agent a few years ago.
Winston still has problems with turnovers, but it is hard to ignore a QB who took the Bucs to two Super Bowls in the last decade and won one of them in 2020.
Allen came out of Wyoming with unlimited potential and in the last decade, the Browns have been to the playoffs on 5 occasions.
Wentz has the Eagles in contention every year, Now the question is after 3 NFC Championship games can he get them to the Super Bowl?
Great Replacement for Tom Brady he only has one Super Bowl ring, but has helped Head Coach Matt Patricia keep the Patriots in the playoffs almost every year for the past 6 years that he has been the Head Coach.
Carr early in his career was known for great regular seasons, but came up short in the playoffs. That all changed when the Raiders hired David Shaw away from Stanford in 2021. Carr has since won two Super Bowl rings in 2022 and 2024.
2 Super Bowl Titles solidifies Prescott’s Ranking!
Mariota has exceeded all expectations coming out of Oregon, and that says a lot because expectations were very high. Mariota has won two Super Bowls with the Titans and a couple more are not out of the question.
I know there is no question who number one is. It has to be Darnold, who has made Jets fans forget about Joe Namath. Now, the question is can Darnold help the Jets become the first team to win three straight Super Bowls? I guess we will have to wait until the 2027 season to find that out.
