1) The Eagles are the best team in the NFC

The Eagles dominated a good Tennessee Titans team on Sunday, holding Derrick Henry to 30 yards rushing. It seems the eagles are hell-bent on proving their doubters wrong. The A.J Brown trade is what put the Eagles over the top. The old saying is you are what your record says you are, and the Eagles have lost just one game.

2) The Bengals are the best team in the AFC

The Bengals have now beaten the Chiefs three times in a calendar year, and Joe Burrow has established himself as the best quarterback in the NFL. Burrow’s third and nine pass to seal the game in a word was special. The Bengals defense is excellent, and guys like Chris Evans and Trenton Irwin step out of nowhere to make plays seemingly every weekend. People need to get used to the idea that the Bengals will be a top team in the NFL for as long as Joe Burrow is there.

3) The Chargers need changes

Play calling and bad offensive line play are turning Justin herbert into an ordinary quarterback, and the Chargers need a complete overhaul starting with a new head coach. Too much talent is on this team to be sitting at .500. Check out the top football odds for betting on the NFL

4) The 49ers have the best defense in the NFL

Nick Bosa led this charge with three sacks and five hurries, and I know Jimmy G. is out, and they don’t have an experienced NFL quarterback, but sometimes you get the feeling from watching them that they may not need to score to win; the defense will score. Quarterback is a huge problem, though and it will be interesting to see how the 49ers address it.

5) Geno Smith is not a fluke

We are at week 13 of the season, and Geno Smith has put the fallacy that he is a fluke to rest; flukes are not around after thirteen weeks. Smith had a hot start and then a horrific middle of the game before he recovered to make the plays to lead Seattle to another win.

6) The Detroit Lions won’t go away

Head coach Dan Campbell has now won four out of his last five games, and they just administered a beating to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Can they stay red hot and make the playoffs? Probably not, but the end-of-the-season schedule is not overly challenging, so you never know.

7) Mike White may not be the answer, but he’s better than Zach Wilson

White was asked to throw the ball 57 times in Minnesota on Sunday, and while he wasn’t great, he showed some leadership ability and toughness, and he will give the Jets the chance grab the last wild card spot possibly. Check out the best football betting strategies.

8) The Ravens lose Lamar and barely escape the Broncos

Lamar Jackson was lost in the first half on Sunday, but to be fair, the Ravens were going nowhere with him at quarterback. Tyler Huntley did no better until the game’s last drive, and we all know that the Broncos can’t finish a game. I said the Ravens were overrated last week, and I think this game proved that point.

9) Mike Tomlin is an excellent coach

After a slow start, the Steelers are starting to find their identity; just like their coach, the Steelers value offensive efficiency over the frills. Running back Najee Harris is blossoming and the offensive line is getting a little better each week. Mike Tomlin doesn’t get the respect he deserves in the NFL.

10) The Giants or the Commandeers will make the playoffs

The teams played to a tie on Sunday, and while the Commandeers are the more talented team, the Giants’ Brian Daboll has gotten more out of the talent he has than most teams do. The Giants have already won more games than expected, and I think Washington is the team out of the two of these teams that will make the playoffs.
