This weekend finds the College Football season heating up and the NFL looking to separate the contenders from the pretenders. We always help you find the best football odds at the Grueling Truth, and even better than that, we will guide you in the best way to bet on those games.
The Wolverines are headed towards a showdown with the Ohio State Buckeyes and a possible date in the CFP playoffs, so this is no time to have a let down against an Illinois team that has been one of the biggest surprises of the 2022 season. Michigan hasn’t fallen for any trap games this season. Jim Harbaugh’s team has won all but one game (a 34-27 victory over Maryland) by double digits without ever trailing in the fourth quarter. Illinois defense is stout, only allowing an average of 13 points per game, but it is hard to take a team serious that lost to Indiana at the start of the season. The Wolverines will dominate the Illini and cover this spread easily.
Pick: Take the Wolverines -17.5 – Bet with Caesars Sportsbook
The Steelers upset the Bengals at the start of the year in a game the Bengals never could get going, as TJ Watt and the Steelers’ defense played well and caused turnovers. These teams are much different now, and the Bengals face an almost must-win on the road against a Steelers team coming off a nice win against the New Orleans Saints. This is an almost lock to me as the Bengals should run away with this one.
Pick: Take the Bengals and give the +4.5 – Bet with BetMGM Sportsbook
After an impressive start, the Bulldogs are rolling towards another CFP bid, while the wildcats are a runaway train going downhill and fast. 22 points is a lot to give on the road, but with that being said, Kentucky just lost at home to Vanderbilt. Will Levis could have the game of his life and the Cats would still have trouble covering this game.
Pick: Take Georgia and give the 22 points – Bet with BetRivers.com
This seems to be a mismatch on paper, and I think it will end up that way on the field. The Bills will torch a poor Browns secondary that has recently sustained injuries. The Browns only shot here is to turn to Nick Chubb to have a great game. Look for the Bills to bounce back big time in this one.
Pick: Take the Bills and give the 9.5 points – Bet with FanDuel Sportsbook
This is a big-time matchup between two surprise teams. The Patriots get by on coaching, and the Jets survive on an incredible young defense and a running back-by-committee approach. The difference in this game will be the Jets’ defense that will force a couple of huge turnovers. Either way, the 3.5 points is to good to pass up in a game that is sure to be low scoring and close.
Pick: Take the Jets and the +3.5 points –

The rivalry is back, and both teams have explosive offenses. USC lost their starting running back for the season, which could sway the outcome of this game. If USC were completely healthy and had they’re running back, I would take them, but they don’t. Take the Bruins in a small upset.
Pick: Take UCLA +1.5 – Bet with Unibet

Utah was the preseason favorite to win the Pac-12, and Oregon was a team with a new coach. Both teams suffered bad losses at the start of the season, but since that opening week, both have played well. I like Cameron Rising and the Utes to pull off the minor upset in this one.
Pick: Take the Utes to win straight up – Bet with DraftKings
Spread | Moneyline | Total
The Packers are coming off a season-saving win over the Dallas Cowboys. The Titans did what they often do; they survived in a close ugly game. The Titans will look to run the ball with Derrick henry and keep Aaron Rodgers off the field. I think the Titans will win this game. The points are the issue, as this looks to be a close game, but I am not even taking the points I am going with the Titans straight up to win.
Pick: Packers -3 points – Bet with Borgata
Spread | Moneyline | Total
Both teams are under heavy fire and should be, as both have underachieved. The loser here might get fired. Josh McDaniels is destroying what was just a year ago a playoff team, and that will continue in this game. The Broncos will break out here.
Pick: Take the Broncos and give the -2.5 points – Bet with SugarHouse
The Cardinals are a mess and the 49ers seem to be rounding into playoff shape. Look for the Niners to dominate this game on the ground and pull away in the second half.
