Ravens/Saints Preview

Week 9 features two of the worst teams in the NFL against the spread. Both teams are only 3-5 against the spread this season.

In Week 8, both teams were small underdogs.

Even though the Saints lost, they look much more complete, with Andy Dalton taking over the starting role. Expect the line to shift in the Ravens favor below the current key figure. I am guessing if you wait the line will drop to -2 or -2.5 in favor of Baltimore!

Betting the game

This game is a tough one to pick at -3. My suggestion will be if you want to bet on the Ravens’ wait because I think this line will dip below 3 points before game time. The game will hinge on turnovers, especially with Andy Dalton playing for the Saints. If Dalton doesn’t turn the ball over the Saints win, but I am playing the law of averages here and guessing he will turn it over. Take the Ravens and give the points.
