Ravens/Saints Preview
Week 9 features two of the worst teams in the NFL against the spread. Both teams are only 3-5 against the spread this season.
In Week 8, both teams were small underdogs.
Even though the Saints lost, they look much more complete, with Andy Dalton taking over the starting role. Expect the line to shift in the Ravens favor below the current key figure. I am guessing if you wait the line will drop to -2 or -2.5 in favor of Baltimore!
This year’s record for the Baltimore Ravens is 5-3. The last game for the Ravens was a 27-22 win over the Buccaneers. In that game, Lamar Jackson was 27/38, with 238 yards and two touchdowns. They have allowed 780 yards through the ground in eight games. The Ravens are ranked 30th in football for yards given up through the air with 2,134 yards. The ground game has not been as devastating as usual, and they have been a better road team than as a home team.

The game will hinge on turnovers, especially with Andy Dalton playing for the Saints. If Dalton doesn’t turn the ball over the Saints win, but I am playing the law of averages here and guessing he will turn it over. Take the Ravens and give the points.
