Week 9 features two of the worst teams in the NFL against the spread. Both teams are only 3-5 against the spread this season.
In Week 8, both teams were small underdogs.
Even though the Saints lost, they look much more complete, with Andy Dalton taking over the starting role. Expect the line to shift in the Ravens favor below the current key figure. I am guessing if you wait the line will drop to -2 or -2.5 in favor of Baltimore!

This game is a tough one to pick at -3. My suggestion will be if you want to bet on the Ravens’ wait because I think this line will dip below 3 points before game time. The game will hinge on turnovers, especially with Andy Dalton playing for the Saints. If Dalton doesn’t turn the ball over the Saints win, but I am playing the law of averages here and guessing he will turn it over. Take the Ravens and give the points.
If you are betting on the Ravens to win and covering the -3 points, the payoff will be decent, and I think the Ravens will win this game and cover. For example, the odds as of a few days before the game range to -115 if you are betting on the Saints to win by more than 3 points. If you bet 100 on the Saints and give the points, the payoff will be at -115; the payout would be 88 dollars, which means you would get back the 100 you bet and the other 88 for winning the bet.
