On Thursday night, two struggling NFC teams will face off when Washington visits Chicago. The Commanders are currently on a four-game losing streak, while Chicago has a two-game skid. Chicago must get its season back on track. The Bears won an impressive victory over San Francisco in Week 1 and were victorious over Houston in Week 3. However, since then, they have suffered back-to-back losses to the Giants (and Vikings). The Bears were able to overcome a slow start against Minnesota that saw them fall behind 21-3 lead in the second quarter. Chicago scored 19 consecutive points to gain a 22-21 lead with 9:26 to go, but Minnesota scored a touchdown with just 2:26 to win.
This is a challenging game to call, as both teams have been inconsistent this season. Carson Wentz is playing well but struggling to put up points. Justin Fields seems to be coming into his own finally. I like the Bears in this one.
