Commanders/Bears Preview
On Thursday night, two struggling NFC teams will face off when Washington visits Chicago. The Commanders are currently on a four-game losing streak, while Chicago has a two-game skid. Since 2019, Chicago won 31-15 on the road. Justin Fields for the Bears seems to be progressing, and the Bears are a team that looks to be on the rise. The Commanders have coaching issues and if they don’t start winning soon, Ron Rivera could be replaced.
The Commanders are a mediocre offensive team this season and ranked No. 19th in the NFL for yards per game (341.6). Wentz has completed 62.9%, of his passes for 1,390 yards with ten touchdowns and six interceptions. Terry McLaurin is his top target, with 19 catches for 326 yards and one touchdown. Curtis Samuel, wide receiver, has added 32 catches to his 281-yard total and two touchdowns. With an average of 3.2 yards per run, the rushing attack hasn’t been able to generate much success. They will be playing a Bears defense giving up more than 360 yards per game on average.

Chicago Bears Betting Tips
Chicago must get its season back on track. The Bears won an impressive victory over San Francisco in Week 1 and were victorious over Houston in Week 3. However, since then, they have suffered back-to-back losses to the Giants (and Vikings). The Bears were able to overcome a slow start against Minnesota that saw them fall behind 21-3 lead in the second quarter. Chicago scored 19 consecutive points to gain a 22-21 lead with 9:26 to go, but Minnesota scored a touchdown with just 2:26 to win.
This is a challenging game to call, as both teams have been inconsistent this season. Carson Wentz is playing well but struggling to put up points. Justin Fields seems to be coming into his own finally. I like the Bears in this one.

If you bet 100 on the Bears to win, the payout would be 93 dollars, which means you would get back the 100 you bet and the other 93 for winning the bet. To me, the best bet is betting on the Bears to cover the -1.
