Cowboys/Eagles Preview

Few could have foreseen this game’s high stakes when the season began. For the past half-decade, the NFC East was one of the most unpopular divisions in the league. But now it is home to three teams with at least four wins.

With a win, the Eagles would be in first place, but the Cowboys could propel themselves into a tie for first, where they’d have the head-to-head tiebreaker over Philly. Don’t forget the Giants, who are also at 4-1.

The Eagles have faced some close calls with teams with losing records after a few big wins. They rallied from being down 14 to defeat the Jaguars 29-22 and then beat the Cardinals   (20-17) on their road trip last week.

Dallas continues to win, with Cooper Rush as the quarterback, behind a formidable defense. Although he isn’t Dak Prescott, who returned to practice this week, but will not play.

Dallas Cowboys Betting Tips

The Eagles might be able to stop Dallas’ pass rush, which has been difficult for many teams. If they are able to get back to total health before game time, then that’s a possibility. He leads the league with a 33% pass rush win rate and is tied for the league lead in sacks with six. He’s still in his second year.

Philadelphia Eagles Betting Tips

The Cowboys’ ability to rush the passer is impressive, but they still have room for improvement when it comes to stopping the run. Dallas needs to improve its 16 per cent stuff rate, which ranks 21st among the NFL. However, it might have an opportunity to improve if Philly isn’t fully healthy.
