Chiefs/Bucs Preview
Sunday’s NFL action at Raymond James Stadium will see the Kansas City Chiefs meet the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Kansas City is currently at 2-1 this year, coming off a close loss against the Colts. Tampa Bay was defeated by the Packers last weekend and suffered their first loss this season.
Both teams have issues, and with the Buccaneers, it starts and ends with injuries. The Bucs have suffered numerous injuries so far this season. The Chiefs have possible internal issues with offensive coordinator Eric Bienimy and Quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Maybe the issues at the end of the first half were nothing but a disagreement, but it was not the first time the two have clashed on the field.
The year began in Kansas City with some solid wins. The opener against the Cardinals was the first. In that game, the Chiefs won 44-21. Although the game against the Chargers was closer, Kansas City managed to win 27-24.
The Chiefs led 17-13 going into the last quarter against the Colts. Kansas City lost 20-17 after being shut out in the 4th quarter. Patrick Mahomes, QB, rushed for 262 yards and a TD. He also led the rush with four carries of 26 yards.
For the first two weeks, the Chiefs looked to be their old selves, but after last weekend multiple questions have to be raised going forward for the Chiefs. On the bright side the defense seems to have improved at least a little bit.

The Buccaneers kicked off their season by playing the Cowboys on the road. With a win of 19-3, Tampa Bay won that matchup. The Bucs won a 20-10 win in week two against the Saints.
