Philadelphia’s offense prevailed in the final 30 minutes, scoring a five-point road win.
Can Minshew keep the Eagles offense alive with Jalen Hurts out? Minshew is arguably the league’s best backup. With a dominant offensive line and running game, and an elite receiving corps, Minshew could turn heads with a strong performance. The Jaguars’ offense scored 27 second-half touchdowns causing the Dallas’ defense to have the worst game of its season so far. Minshew must limit his mistakes to keep the Eagles in contention. Minshew made his first start last season against the Cowboys in Week 18. Philadelphia chose to rest Hurts, and other starters, instead. Minshew threw just 186 yards in Philadelphia’s 51-26 defeat. He had a 2:1 TD-to-INT ratio and a 51.1 QBR.
The Eagles are still a formidable team with Minshew at the helm. They have so many weapons that Minshew should have a solid game. A solid game will not be enough to win against what should be an inspired Cowboys team. To win Minshew will have to make some big plays.

Dan Quinn’s defense should be focused on winning at the point-of-attack and putting Minshew under stress this week.
This game is much more critical to the Cowboys, as the Eagles pretty much have everything they want wrapped up. Minshew will be able to put points on the board, but I look for Dak Prescott to redeem himself this weekend and the Cowboys will win this one.
