This is a huge matchup in the AFC West, especially for the Chargers, who are now at 5-4 and desperately need a win in this one. The Chiefs if they win this game will take full control of the AFC West. The Chargers are being hurt by injuries at the receiver position and a porous defense that has been riddled by injuries also. QB Justin Herbert has not lived up to the hype but a lot of that falls on injuries to him and around him. The Chiefs still have questions on offense and defense but more often than not Patrick Mahomes has all of those answers. The Chiefs are currently rolling and have the number one record in the AFC West, this game represents a chance to almost wrap up the AFC West around the halfway point of the season.
