Bills vs Patriots Preview
The week 13 NFL schedule begins with an AFC East clash in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Buffalo Bills are on the road to take on the New England Patriots for the first of two late-season meetings. Buffalo is coming off a victory over Detroit on Thanksgiving, but they were 9.5 points behind and failed to cover. New England lost on Thanksgiving night against Minnesota 33-26. They were a 2.5-point underdog. The Patriots hold a 76-46-1 edge in the all-time regular-season series. However, the Bills have a 33-21 road victory in the last regular-season matchup on December 26, 2021. New England was also defeated 47-17 by the Bills in the AFC Wild Card Round at their home on January 15, 2022.
New England had won five of six previous ones before Minnesota beat them on Thanksgiving night. Despite a winning record, the Patriots are now at 6-5 and in the basement of the AFC East. New England led Minnesota 10-7 at halftime, and was tied at 16. At the end of the third quarter, New England led 26-23. After three quarters, New England lost 10-0. in the fourth quarter. Although the Patriots had a 409-358 advantage in total offense, they lost the first down battle 23-17. They also lost the time of possession by a 36 to 24 margin. New England was able to force the game’s sole turnover, but they also gave up a kick return for ascore and committed six penalties. This included a running into the kicker call that gave life to the Vikings drive that resulted in the game-winning touchdown.
The Patriots are 19th in league passing offense, averaging 216.9 yards per week through the air. New England ranks 22 in the league for rushing offense, averaging 109 yards per game on the ground. The Patriots rank 18 in the league in scoring offense with an average of 21.7 goals per game. New England is 6th in scoring defense, allowing 18.4 points per game. Mac Jones is 162 out of 234 passing for 1,768 yards with six touchdowns & seven interceptions. He has been sacked 24 times for 152 yards of losses and added 81 yards and a score on ground once. Bailey Zappe is 65-of-92 for 781 yards, with five touchdowns (three interceptions). Brian Hoyer is five out of six for 37 yards. Damien Harris has 84 carries and 383 yards for the ground game. He also scored three touchdowns. Rhamondre Stephenson (151 carries; 680 yards; four touchdowns) is the Patriots’ other half of their 1-2 run punch. Jakobi Meyers, with 47 receptions for 571 yards and three touchdowns this year, is one of the biggest threats on this team. DeVante Parker (21 catches for 420 yards), Nelson Agholor (23/310 yards), Hunter Henry (23/230 yards), two TD), Stevenson (leads team 50 catches, 359 yards, TD). Nick Folk is 23 of 23 on extra points attempts and 24th of 28 on field goals with a long 52.
New England’s Monday injury report showed that running back Damien Harris and tackle Isaiah Wynn was not practicing. A thigh injury to center David Andrews, tackle Yodny Calf (calf), and wide receivers Jakobi Meyers and DeVante Parker (shoulder), respectively. Defensive backs Marcus Jones (ankle), along with Jalen Mills (groin), were all limited. Keep checking for any updates regarding their health leading up to the game. Early reports have indicated that Harris will likely miss the game. He will be considered week-to-week.

Buffalo Bills Betting Tips
