After a wild week six, where does your favorite NFL team fall on the Grueling Truth’s NFL Power Rankings: Week 7? Scroll down to find out! Don’t forget to like, comment, and share.
1. San Francisco 49ers (6-0; Last Week: 1st)
Result: W vs Commanders 23-17
Brock Purdy had another efficient game, and continues to play at an MVP level so far this season. Mike Evans went down with injury (again). Defense almost gave it up, but had a couple of nice plays at the end of the game to put it away.
2. Buffalo Bills (5-1; Last Week: 2nd)
Result: W vs Raiders 33-30
Tough win against a spunky Raiders team, but the defense has to be better. The offense is elite, but the defense is one of the worst in the NFL right now. Unsustainable if youâre trying to win a âchip.
3. Kansas City Chiefs (5-0; Last Week: 4th)
Result: W vs Chargers 22-6
Kansas City didnât play particularly well, but they won anyway. Playing a totally lost team like the Chargers helps. This defense is legit.
4. Minnesota Vikings (5-0; Last Week: 8th)
Result: N/A
Minnesota had a BYE WEEK in week 6.
5. Denver Broncos (4-2; Last Week: 9th)
Result: W vs Seahawks 17-14
Awesome win over the Super Bowl champs, but Devnerâs offense sucks. Bo Nix continues to underwhelm, and itâs clouding a 4-2 record. Itâs going to be hard to win games if your offense is this inept come playoff time.
6. Seattle Seahawks (3-3; Last Week: 3rd)
Result: L vs Broncos 17-14
The Seahawks lost due to a stagnant offense that committed three turnovers and allowed five sacks. Seattle repeatedly struggled to move the ball efficiently. The defense allowed only 168 total yards, but a late interception thrown by Sam Darnold cost them the game.
7. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-2; Last Week: 5th)
Result: L vs Texans 34-31
Offensively, Trevor Lawrence went in, throwing for 306 yards and four touchdowns. However, defensive breakdowns against explosive pass plays and untimely penalties ultimately led to defeat.
8. Baltimore Ravens (4-2; Last Week: 7th)
Result: L vs Browns 13-10
Without Lamar Jackson, the offense scored ten quick points, but went completely stagnant for the rest of the game. The defense delivered, holding Cleveland to just 13 points and getting five sacks, but a late 33 yard pass led to the Browns to kick the game winning field goal.
9. Cincinnati Bengals (3-2; Last Week: 10th)
Result: N/A
Cincinnati had a BYE WEEK in week 6.
10. New England Patriots (4-2; Last Week: 11th)
Result: W vs Jets 26-19
Drake Maye threw three touchdown passes, as AJ Brown struggled in his return from injury. Keep an eye on the offensive line moving forward – they lost three starting offensive linemen over the course of the game.
11. Los Angeles Rams (2-4; Last Week: 6th)
Result: L vs Cardinals 18-16
Just a gross loss, and everyone in the building should be embarrassed. The Rams should be fine, but this team has issues on both sides of the ball. Now Davante Adams is out for an extended period.
12. Detroit Lions (3-2; Last Week: 12th)
Result: N/A
Detroit had a BYE WEEK in week 6.
13. Green Bay Packers (4-2; Last Week: 14th)
Result: W vs Cowboys 23-13
The Packersâ defense has been cooking in recent weeks. This was their third straight game dominating. The offense needs help though. Josh Jacobs is coming back at the perfect time.
14. Chicago Bears (4-2; Last Week: 15th)
Result: W vs Falcons 31-23
Welcome back Caleb Williams! He was on fire, completing a career best 83% of his passes for 305 yards. Kyler Gordon made an immediate impact in his season debut. Gordon had three sacks and forced two fumbles in the win. 12 penalties is ridiculous.
15. Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2; Last Week: 17th)
Result: W vs Buccaneers 26-19
Aaron Rodgers overcame an extremely sluggish start to rally from a 13 point fourth quarter deficit. He tied Peyton Manning for third on the NFL’s career touchdown list. Rico Dowdle looked good coming off injury, and rookie Germie Bernard provided a nice boost to the passing game.
16. Carolina Panthers (3-2; Last Week: 19th)
Result: W vs Eagles 25-14
The defense completely stifled Phillyâs Barkley-less ground game, allowing just 35 rushing yards on 13 attempts. Chuba Hubbard racked up 120 yards and a touchdown on 28 carries. A partially blocked punt on special teams in the fourth quarter locked up the win for Carolina.
17. New York Giants (3-2-1; Last Week: 13th)
Result: L vs Saints 34-27
Jameis Winston was butt and was replaced by JJ McCarthy. McCarthy actually had more passing yards in the 4th quarter than Justin Herbert has had in any full game this season. Benching Skattebo was idiotic.
18. Dallas Cowboys (2-4; Last Week: 16th)
Result: L vs Packers 23-13
Horrid performance by the offense. Dak Prescott has to be better, but he also canât be throwing the ball 54 times in a game. You canât let your opponent convert 61% of their third downs.
19. Cleveland Browns (4-2; Last Week: 22nd)
Result: W vs Ravens 13-10
The offense was awful for three quarters, then finally woke up in the fourth. Luckily for them, the defense locked down the Ravens offense. The offensive line, and the offense in general, have to be better.
20. Houston Texans (2-4; Last Week: 24th)
Result: W vs Jaguars 34-31
Here come the Texans? CJ Stroud has played well recently, and looks as good as ever. Adding Marvin Harrison Jr. boosts the passing game. If Stroud and the offense can keep this up, Houston will be a problem.
21. Philadelphia Eagles (2-4; Last Week: 18th)
Result: L vs Panthers 25-14
Jalen Hurts is done for the year with blood clots. Barkley is shot. The offensive line sucks. Itâs time for a rebuild. Luckily, 2027 looks like a good Draft for rebuilding teams.
22. Las Vegas Raiders (3-3; Last Week: 21st)
Result: L vs Bills 33-30
Kirk Cousinsâ 313 yards and two touchdowns fueled a late 17 point offensive surge in the fourth quarter. The offensive line played well, but the Raiders need more from Jeanty and the rushing attack. The offense has to be better in the red zone (only two touchdowns in five red zone trips).
23. Atlanta Falcons (2-4; Last Week: 23rd)
Result: L vs Bears 31-23
The Falcons offense has been one of the leagueâs best with Michael Penix Jr. running the show, but they werenât good against the Bears. The defense just couldnât get off the field, allowing Chicago to dominate the time of possession.
24. New Orleans Saints (2-4; Last Week: 26th)
Result: W vs Giants 34-27
The defense was solid, despite the yards given up in the 4th quarter. They held New Yorkâs runningbacks to just 40 total rushing yards, and got three interceptions. He threw for three touchdowns, but Tyler Shough has to be more efficient.
25. Arizona Cardinals (2-4; Last Week: 29th)
Result: W vs Rams 18-16
This was the best the defense has played since week one. They allowed only 286 total yards and held the Rams to just 16 points. Kicker Chad Ryland was the MVP, scoring all of Arizonaâs points. The offense, however, was its usual mediocre self.
26. Indianapolis Colts (2-4; Last Week: 20th)
Result: L vs Titans 26-20
General Manager Chris Ballard was fired, and one has to wonder what other changes are coming. Indy has been a disappointment, and losing to arguably the worst team in the league has turned the heat up.
27. New York Jets (2-4; Last Week: 25th)
Result: L vs Patriots 26-19
The defense was such a let down in this game. They just could not get a stop at key moments. At least the offense was decent. Shout out to Omer Cooper Jr. for his first 100 yard game as a pro.
28. Washington Commanders (1-4-1; Last Week: 27th)
Result: L vs 49ers 23-17
Hideous offensive line play, self inflicted wounds via penalty, and game management issues from head coach Dan Quinn. Sprinkle the season ending knee injury to star receiver Terry McLaurin on top. Rough week.
29. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-5; Last Week: 28th)
Result: L vs Steelers 26-19
The defense dominated for three quarters, then collapsed, allowing the Steelers to score on five consecutive possessions in the 4th quarter and overtime. Rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels struggled heavily down the stretch, throwing two crucial interceptions. When is Baker back?
30. Tennessee Titans (1-5; Last Week: 32nd)
Result: W vs Colts 26-20
After being outclassed in the first half, Tennessee surprisingly rattled off 20 unanswered points in the 2nd half. Despite the defense and special teams handing the offense short fields, they repeatedly stalled out in the red zone, and had to rely on field goals to get points. This offense is justâŚso badâŚ
31. Los Angeles Chargers (0-6; Last Week: 30th)
Result: L vs Chiefs 22-6
The Chargers are 0-6 for the first time in 26 years – when Jim Harbaugh was a quarterback for San Diego. Wild times. Some major changes are on the horizon. Up first: say goodbye to Mike McDaniel.
32. Miami Dolphins (0-5; Last Week: 31st)
Result: N/A
Miami had a BYE WEEK in week 6.
